- When my backyard neighbor passed away, his family sold me this large workbench that had come from the Brown & Sharpe factory in Providence, RI, where he had worked for many years.

Great workbench (in every sense of the word), and the new concrete lip looked like a really good upgrade to the floor!
Thanks! It’s been a great addition to the shop!
I love that you brought the tabletop around and then used it as an outdoor workbench for a few months 😆
Keeping it real!
Thanks! It was super useful for that purpose! I have since moved - brought the bench with me and glued the part I cut off back on.
Great job and video thanks for sharing and remember stay safe and make 🍺🍺👍👍🇬🇧
Thank you for watching!
So much character and history. And a lot of work !. Thanks. Subscribed

Great work! I think you know who I am… 😜🤔
Yes! Congratulations on your success! I am not at all jealous. 😂
@@TheGrainDoctor that’s ok 😂. You will hit the nerve soon as well.
That’s some interesting cement work on your original floor. Super jealous of the fact you can find stuff like that around there. Where I live historic stuff starts in the 1950’s
Yeah, it was kind of an interesting way they sloped the floor. 😂
Maybe you should abandon the basement for a workshop and build a 20x30 workshop out back. BTW My Grandfather work as an inspector for Brown and Sharpe from 1918-1949. I thought I recognized that workbench. (not)
Re: your grandfather - cool 😎! I ended up abandoning the basement workshop. For another basement workshop. Fml
@@TheGrainDoctor Good for you! Take care.
