  • In this video, I share my first impression of the frame bag of the rather no-name brand Rhinowalk from the far east. Maybe you can learn something from this video and my thoughts I've shared with you here.
If this was useful why not showing me by either giving me a thumbs up and/or subscribing to my channel.
    Cheers

you need a side loading water bottle cage

Exactly, that's the solution, the ones installed are very rigid and made from carbon so there's no chance of bending without damaging them sustainably. Do you have any good recommendations for sideloading bottle cages? :)

@@Velodicted I got some cheap Lezyne ones, Flow SL I believe . They work well for me but I haven't used any other so I can't compare. They probably don't grip as well compared to a standard cage.

@@dsego84 Thank you, I'll include them in my search :D but that's a good starting point (Y)

    This bag looks much worse.
By the way, did you see the new front bag from Topeak?

Topeak midloader looks better I give you that and I'm also thinking the new midloader looks cool, especially in the new color option, very much like the apidura series.
But I have my concerns because of the fabric. They call it "strongly water-repellent" as all of their bags are in the bike packing series, but the main difference is that all other bags have either an additional watertight bag (frontloader and back loader, both I have) or a hood like to Toploader (that I own as well). So there's a huge chance that the midloader would leak at some point, and I need a compartment where I can be secure storing critical things e.g. electronics.
      Cheers

@@Velodicted If you look at the price of Topek bags, then obviously there will be no real waterproofness.
Even the front and rear bags will leak if you ride in heavy rain for a long time.

@@user-sk2bs5so9x But they at least last longer because they are tight to a claimed water column of 10000mm, that's rain jacket territory. The Rhinobag frame bag is a completely different material something similar to Ortlieb's messenger bags. And that's why I want to try out a cheap real watertight/proof alternative.
