- Djay Pro 5.0 update is finally here, and in this video, I am showing all the new amazing features that we get and some features that we lose. The biggest change is the new Starter Mode and the updated waveforms and Neural Mix. The biggest thing we lose is the ability to use Neural Mix with Tidal streaming service.

The new beat grid system is incredible. So much more on point. The cross fader effects isn't something I'll use very much. I'm not gonna let program take all the fun away. Glad to see the software evolving.

hey man i really need your help. I connected my ipad to a rev7. i can only mix when audio setting is set to external. I'm cool with that but i lose access to the Crossfaded Fx section. That's really what I want to mix with. Please help. I saw your other video and followed the directions for audio settings so I am reaching to see if you can help. Much respect from Los Angeles. You've earned a sub.
Cross fader effects are great in new 5.0
Would be nice if you could do a bpm lock on the decks though

I'm using that with iPad Pro, turntables, and Xone 96 unfortunately I have to say that DJay Pro 5 is very buggy…yet
MAC would be the best option because of the processing power. Dj pro was originally dessigned for iOS

iPhone or iPad Pro m1 or m2 chip is also best. I have a iPhone 13 which is now well over 3 years old and runs neural mix 100%.
The inability to use Tidal with neural mix is unrelated to this update. Tidal stopped working with neural mix a while back, before this update came out.
yes I herd that but for me it worked fine until i updated
@@justinspiegel6841 I see - that’s very odd. In my case, I got a message last week (or maybe 2 weeks ago) when I tried using Neural Mix with Tidal. The message said that due to a change in Tidal’s terms of service, Neural Mix would no longer be available.
WHICH WINDOWS LAPTOP U RECOMMEND FOR ALGORIDDIM DJAY PRO? OR DO U THINK APPLE IS BETTER?

I was reading were the tidal thing might have been a mistake they said they were trying to work things out with tidal all hope is not lost

I don't think it was a mistake. Tidal removed Stems ability across all platforms, it's been a known thing so unfortunately I don't think it was a mistake.
is anyone else have problems with slowing down songs where it doesnt slow the songs down actually

How can you change the sync where when you press it, it rewinds the same song to the same time instead of syncing the same song in two different times of the song
Man, I love your videos, but in this case I think you‘re missing the whole point of this update. It‘s not about starter mode and waveform colours for sure. To say „we‘re losing Tidal in Neural mix, but we get starter mode“ is just way off. New stems quality (if you have the right device for it), fluid beatgrids (gamechanger!!!!) and the crossfader fx…that is the big news, very very big. Not starter mode. Looking forward to all the new content with the new version from you!!!
