I haven’t used Serato Dj Pro in a couple of months but one of the biggest differences not a lot of people talk about is having access to multiple music platforms all at the same time versus with Serrato just having only one, for example, being able to use Tidal, SoundCloud,and Beatsource together, and not having to offload one to use the other in the middle of a set. 🔥
Denon just released a DJ Engine update, Serato is just not even trying anymore 😂😂😂😂
Sdj 3.1 was released... you have stems control in other gear... and Sonoma ready
These are some great new features that should be added to every dj software.
The beatgrids are like witchcraft the are amazing and nothing touches it.
Now that UVC is supported on iPad, Mac, PC & Android. I suggest a Source Switcher to mix Music Video & Live Camera, plus support for Live-streaming to RTMP & SRT. Thus, the DJ alone is able to do production-grade Live-Mixes for both on-premises & remote contribution use cases.
I always used it with an iPad connected to the internet for requests and was able to mix it into a live set. Always a fan. Can’t wait to try the new features on the new M2 iPad Pro for a complete set. Can it finally be time to ditch the laptop? (Haven’t yet) looking forward to making instrumentals on the fly!
Interesting. I'm seeing some features that were released on the DJM-S5 and the FLX4 but baked into the software. Wonder how they stack up against each other.
Yep. I have been waiting for the software to get to this point. That is a massive update. Just got the app for a $30 for the year. It is a great deal. Go get it guys. I have the rev 7 and this will be so much fun. I am working on a routine for next Wednesday showcase that the tempo is going to go up 10 percent. I am doing it now using the pitch fader and the crossfader and echo. But this new feature. Wooahhh I can’t wait to try it out. It will make that go smoother when I perform it

I was a day one user but, never dependent they were in the STEMS game a love time and the first for streaming.
Hey, I just started with DJing, I just recognized vinyls are pretty expensive and the old-school hip hop I want is hard to get in Germany, and to expensive ordering from the US. I have turntables, XONE23, and also a DDJ FLX6.
Can I be able to use DVS with reloop rp700mk2 turntables + XONE23 mixer? Or I need a different mixer ?
It would be worth it if you could at least buy the software.
50 bucks a year is pretty cheap given everything moving to subscription based services. Especially considering how cutting edge, user friendly, and stable the software is. I think that’s why the hardware support is so limited. Similar to Apple’s model of hardware integration, except they use it to be cutting edge instead of monolithic and stagnant lol.
@allentastic 50 dollars used to buy you a complete unlimited license for most software.
The only thing i dont like is that I cant pay for it outright. I understand the subscription model but I might try it.
The one thing I was looking for was the minimum specs for your computer, Mac specifically. I’ve only seen the minimum OS. … MacBook 2015 still hanging on
NIce upgrade, there have a BUT, but new feature works only with controller, and standalone, not with standalone mixers, so if you are a DVS player you can not use new neuaral mix and crossfader fx. I have tried hours with DVS but that doesn't work well, wrong channel routing, extra sensitive needle signal, if you just leave the needle on Control Vinyl, and you talk a bit loud, you will hear a scratchy sound, if you just gently knock the turntable deck, just hear that scratchy sound. Can you imagine what will happen in the noisy, loud club? Unusable…yet!
I haven’t spent enough time with the DVS yet, but doesn’t the calibration fox this? It analyzes the signal while playing music and when the needle is still on the record.
And Neural Mix works on the standalone mixer. I’ve used it on a pad mode on the S7. The crossfader fusion is a different story. I don’t know of that can be mapped to the fader already
@@djTLMtv Thanks for sharing your experience, I will have try to re-calibrate them. I've used Xone 96 club mixer, and and iPad pro, I had no any issues with DJay Pro 4.

No wavfile view on rev7 unfortunately. Idk if Pioneer open up that capability to anyone other then sersto though, don’t think that’s a midi functiom probably API if it was open

No, Spotify stopped allowing that years ago. Luckily Tidal, Soundcloud, Beatport and Beatsource are available
BEATPORT & BEATSOURCE I DIDN'T LIKE THEY DONT HAVE ALOT OF SONGS I USE TIDAL & SOUNDCLOUD.

It works with both. You f you’re using Apple now, stick with that.
Hey DJ TLM can I send you all the songs I have in iTunes music library and you tell me which one has all the music I play because I would like to start making DJ videos but can’t do it without having a license for the songs but I already have the songs downloaded and I downloaded them from CZcams because I’m on a budget and can’t afford to pay for songs I already have downloaded

Yes, years ago. Unfortunately, Spotify doesn’t allow this anymore. But Tidal, Beatport, Beatsource and Soundcloud are available. If you have playlists on Spotify, there are a lot of tools to convert that to Tidal and use it in DJay

They dont need extra controllers, either get wit Djay or stay with Pioneer. Pioneer doesnt add controllers for Rekordbox. They have partnerships just like Serato and everybody else. Get with the program or miss out...."you can get wit this, or you can get wit that."

I don’t know any sites like that. I think you need permission from the specific labels for the songs you want to use
So how do you avoid a copyright when you play copyrighted music in your videos even though you’re a freestyle DJ if i have to contact them how do I know who to contact and email them
You can't avoid it. And you will have to research to find out which label an artist is signed to and then find their contact info online.
But I'm willing to bet that they won't clear songs for us little guys. You would probably have to be a big name or company to make that happen@@leonzalirchirl2828
Traktor had stems first
That was not the same thing. The Traktor stems feature allowed you to load special versions of songs that had the separate stems in the file.
The stems in djay Pro (Neural Mix), Serato, VDJ and Rekordbox are realtime stem separators.
It’s great but hardware support sucks, XDJ not properly, Mixstream No, Buddy Yes!!, why, VDJ works with everything
Stems don’t work with streaming anymore. Very disappointing.
It still works with Beatsource
And it still works with Beatport and Djay Music.
But Soundcloud and atidal don’t, which sucks indeed

Serato wins to me because it came with my mixer. With this I’d have to go buy an iPad and pay a subscription.
Now if I had to pay a subscription for serato I’d consider switching to something else.
@@Bigheadedwon you can run djay on a laptop. I’ve been on serato since version 1.1. I won’t switch completely but I’ll defiantly be setting up a secondary setup. The features are miles ahead of serato. And the beatgrids are amazing. Serato beatgrids are embarrassing
