Man, being able to remove the head and still leave the intake manifold blower on is incredible. (I hope I heard that right)

Interesting. BUT as someone who builds production based engines I know all about block stresses and clamping. The reason the SBC is still the one to beat. You can torque plate one and it actually stays round when you torque the heads on. Equal spacing helps a LOT. These are aluminium so flex more than iron. Even without water jackets they must flex the block with 5/8 studs and 180psi clamping. I suspect ditto on the bottom as well. Playing with a Cleveland, big heavy lump and the torque plated block has gone out of round using 100 psi [with studs] The bottom seems ok. I am building a n/a race 5litre and still using 7/16 studs to limit the flex
A cam that is closed in is pure drag race stuff,, you need oil to make the cam live in all other applications. You have to limit that oil ofcourse. But it is needed.

Are you implying that small block chevy stuff is superior to this, lol ? Pretty sure there isn't a small block on the planet that competes with these engines, chief......

Beautiful engine nice job making those improvements on the 4.9. id like to see one on the smallblock hemi like axman has in 1 car. I always used to think that all hemis were the same ajpe Brad Anderson and now noonan is in the game. Within that you have several builders that build then you have several builders like extream racing enginesand proline just dont know what is their designes and machining. I wonder how off and you guys pull an engine apart and see somebody modified something that you know is going to cause no lll drama but your heads and block really look better than even ajpe be proud down home dooking f4iends with dreams making it happen. You tuys reming of Tin Soldiers Race Cars.

Can you make the cylinder head with a a shallower cylinder head, that is on a normal 58.5 degree combustion chamber, have it say 40 or even 36 degree combustion chamber with 4.600 bore and a 2.500 intake and 2.100 exhaust with Jesel style rocker arms ???

What does all this mean in metric. imperial measurement needs to exit the chat because only 4 countries on the planet use this backward long out dated form of measurement the rest of us on the planet use metric. Joining the rest of the planet could be an idea just saying.

Completely different but talking to an American in Japan last year who builds furniture he works in metric because it's faster. It's the grumpy old man issue that stops change
