kye I used oil I tested in boats like 20 years ago it was used in tractor pulling it was cem-pe- co they had me visit pulling teams they gave money and oil to like sell or sponsor it, one tractor did odd stuff to diesel engine & made it other fuel then diesel, like spark plug where injectors were & fuel intake and fuel injection add a fuel turbo's & hold on one run one set of main bearing the guy from the oil company i worked with, here try this it out our normal s3 tank oil supply , can it any better ! from one pull to the whole year! it was a winning tractor had like a 4000 horse power engine when there mods were done! i got badly sick & it was cancer & uncles control was found out about me in hospital i said his name! he had the same cancer & lived threw it fact i had no idea of it was 100% death rate cancer! every one in world died of it to him! the control was found in that test he was in! ( gee that book's title page he gave was important i copy it down) it was best thing in my life that happen then helper run off! Gregg my name

The cam bearings are grooved back and the pin is hollow? Being the pin has to protrude into the bearing just shy of the surface does that take away the benefits of the grooved backside of the cam bearings or does it leave enough clearance that the groove remains pressurized with oil?

The way you guys do an excellent repair on blocks to look like new again is how PAR done mine cnc and all. There are so many places out there that leave these billet and aluminum blocks all welded up on the outside and not machined to look like a new or non-hurt block, and it drives me crazy. It looks like crap and makes me wonder just how nice and well they did the rest of the work.

one thing a cnc machine will take a big block of metal & run it threw the cnc machine it now a engine block! ( what happens too all the removed scrap?) is it melted down and make more blocks of metal?

ABSOLUTELY I would like to see that part of the repair. How much repair cost would it have to be to be worth just getting another block? How bad would the damage have to be to not be able to repair it? The ability to repair these blocks makes them more attractive.
