Gauge 1 Atlantic steamed in the garden to test a modification to the ashpan and a different source of fuel. A bit too wet to get the rolling stock out!
I presume this is a Barrett Engineering model, modified by you? Apologies if a wrong assumption. I have a similar Atlantic but with cut down SR cab and in black BR livery
It is a Barrett loco, modified by the previous owner to run on a different fuel, I was struggling to steam it and after consulting several local coal enthusiasts decided to modify the ashpan/grate which has worked well with the anthracite grains available locally.
Nice loco that ,Shame abot the rain but at least you had nice plumes of steam !
Cheers! with no load behind it I left the blower cracked open a bit which helped the steam plume!
