A while back, I whipped up a quick Fender Frontman 15G review video that got lots of attention, but that video barely scratched the surface. Now, I'm back with something even better-a full demo / review of the Frontman's full capabilities that'll really surprise you!
Armed with my trusty Monster Strat, equipped with three Humbuckers and three Coil Splits, we're unleashing the full spectrum of the Fender Frontman 15G capabilities. We're putting this little amp through its paces. Single coils, humbuckers-no pickup is left untested. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we're throwing in the Fulltone Mosfet Full Drive Pedal to push the boundaries even further.

I had a Frontman 15G from 1998 til 2005, and I absolutely loved it. So much,in fact that I bought a Fender Frontman 20 last year, and I love this one... It's what works, and I've never been dissatisfied with any bedroom amp that Fender has on the market

My first brand new guitar that I took lessons for the first time was a gio. I recently got a fender 15g for $20.
Gios are great guitars!
I picked one up in a second hand shop for £25 in the UK. Its ok for clean sound but I think overdrive or any other effects need adding to it through an effects pedal.

Nobody likes the Frontman 10g...Is this 15g better?
I really don’t know but I have been very satisfied with this 15 G model.
the fact that every cheap practice amps.. always equipped with a... low grade speakers...
The quality of these speakers is always a stumbling block in this case, and sometimes we have to compromise between quality and price..... but I know for some reason, every people who use this kind of amp into a bigger speaker, or even upgrade it into a better speaker, will get some benefit....
and this is sad but true... most of the buyer of the amps, the cheap practice amp are mostly beginner or even more unbelievable, the 1st timer who (maybe) know nothing about guitars, amps & Effects...
they buy the frontman amp, and expecting it could perform hard rock & heavy metal stuffs... which is the fact that the frontman's preamp is not designed for that genre...
maybe it's a different thing, if we're talkin' about the newer amp such as Fender Champhion, that have some amp “voicings” (simulations), and some of them are indeed.. metal preamps... which is maybe still not great for the purist hard rockers & heavy metalist due to the quality of the stock speaker itself of course... but the preamp will do the justice than the Frontman's preamp...
it all comes back, the player must know what the amplifier's limitations are, and know how to maximize them... including the choice of genre...
but lucky for us,... nowadays... there are IRs, Cabinet Speaker Simulator that will be able to fix some of these amps problems.....
