Does anyone feel sort of like this is a win for Merphy? Not only does one of her favourite actors now know that she exists, but he also agrees with her that her least favourite word deserves to be hated. I'm not so sure that Daniel won this round...
At best he conceded that it can provoke a reaction, but he totally defended it's use for the sake of waves, he suggested it's not too bad if you say it slowly, and he said it 14 times with gusto and without retching - don't think he hates it. He's telling her her hatred is maybe a going too far.
But yeah, I'd say it's a win if Sean Astin messages you - no need to twist his words for the sake of her private linguist war. :)

Recent fan of both of your channels. Personally I absolutely love the word undulate, I think it has such a cool sound to it! I recently used it in real life to describe kelp forests i snorkeled through undulating in the waves, and thought it was the perfect descriptor lol.
