Even with him you will get the same. When people are ignorant of something as basic as freedom or what rights are, oppression is all that comes from them holding office. The fact he is a team member shows he is an order follower. Maybe he can find that feeling of happiness and relaxation and find relief from his PTSD symptoms. @@marccano5061 I don't think it was being macho. There was a stiffness and watchfulness. I see it in my Dad as well. It's like they are strung so tight all the time there body never relaxes. There was a part of the episode where Shawn laughed and it was so different than in other videos. He's lost that stiffness through his whole body.It's so difficult to describe. I see some of the same things in my dad. I have watched my dad struggle with his PTSD. After he retired from the Army he moved like 2 miles away from me to be closer. I use to see him every weekend. Now he's going to the VA every week, I barely see him 2 or 3 times a month now. I'm afraid for him. I call everyday to make sure he's ok. But the VA isn't working. It getting critical now I'm afraid.
@stacey b I see the same changes in Shawn even has a new brightness to his eyes and facial expressions. Don't hesitate to guide your Dad to try this alternative healing it works have seen it work with others and personally been through similar treatments. Plant medicine is powerful wishing you the best with your Dad.
Don't lose contact with your dad. Be sure and stay close by and check on him often. You may also check in with your closest VA outpatient clinic and see what you can do to be more pro-active. Best to you and your dad.

As a GM2 back in 2010, We had two BUDs Dropouts assigned to us via them choosing GM, and those two guys humbled a lot of us. Hard workers and always ready to rock out for the team. One was older then I was at the time and he was a great asset for the younger guys due to his life experiances and just overall level headed nature. Ship life was definitely wild but I miss it at times.

Shawn seems so much more relaxed and laid back since his treatment. I'm going to get my Dad to watch Shawn's story. Maybe he can find that feeling of happiness and relaxation and find relief from his PTSD symptoms. Shawn thanks for bringing these things to light.VA seems to only prescribe more pills just to treat the symptoms. Happiness suits you ! Thanks for all you do bringing awareness not only to the SEAL teams but the SF community as a whole. 🇺🇸❤🙏

@@marccano5061 I don't think it was being macho. There was a stiffness and watchfulness. I see it in my Dad as well. It's like they are strung so tight all the time there body never relaxes. There was a part of the episode where Shawn laughed and it was so different than in other videos. He's lost that stiffness through his whole body.It's so difficult to describe. I see some of the same things in my dad. I have watched my dad struggle with his PTSD. After he retired from the Army he moved like 2 miles away from me to be closer. I use to see him every weekend. Now he's going to the VA every week, I barely see him 2 or 3 times a month now. I'm afraid for him. I call everyday to make sure he's ok. But the VA isn't working. It getting critical now I'm afraid.
@stacey b I see the same changes in Shawn even has a new brightness to his eyes and facial expressions.
Don't hesitate to guide your Dad to try this alternative healing it works have seen it work with others and personally been through similar treatments.

As a GM2 back in 2010, We had two BUDs Dropouts assigned to us via them choosing GM, and those two guys humbled a lot of us. Hard workers and always ready to rock out for the team. One was older then I was at the time and he was a great asset for the younger guys due to his life experiances and just overall level headed nature. Ship life was definitely wild but I miss it at times.
Eli you were such a pleasure to listen to. I have nothing but respect for your honesty. I’m so impressed by all that you’ve done. The courage you show is remarkable. I will be looking for how I can support both you and Shawn.⭐️

This was background sound until I Heard this man's story, and had to rewind and actually listen to all you operators stories, it really hits home to hear the real world shit that happens, and I mean here at home, and Alot of the time if not, that's half the battle... The at home stuff, and how we all deal with PTSD is more Interesting than hearing about going through the battle shit, much respect and love... Thanks for the inspiration in every word you and your guests bring to me... 🙌🙌
