    You put a lot of detailed work and explanation into that video for the sake of many others. Well done and thanks.

    This is great! A fine demonstration of both the reloading process in general, and also the features of the Six Pack Pro. Plus some good addons! :)

    Supremely done, very well edited video! Really went the distance on this one. Thank you for sharing all the details on this process, something with which I'd consider to be the baseline of quality. Cheers.

    Very nice video. Technically what you call a case gage is actually an ammo checker and not a case gage.

      Good afternoon and thanks for stopping by the channel Rotorhound 👍👍. I must agree that the correct name for the Lyman product is Ammo checker. It is a bad habit I picked up and also in talking with fellow loaders also referred to this as case gage. Anyway. very glad you find this clip interesting. These tend to take a long time the put together but it turned out great. take care and have a great week.

    Nice! i see you've taken my suggestion for the grimmnir case feed system, it's sooo much better than the stock lee system, cases tipping over with the old system.
    I see that your bullets seem to not to stay very straight? Since you're using the lee powder through expander die, i just wanted to let you know that lee is currently starting to produce an updated expander plug that has the lyman "m-die" style expander step that makes them seat nice and straight, currently they're still going through their old stock so i'm not sure if you can order one seperately (yet?)
    i also know NOE bullet molds in the US makes a whole bunch of different plugs for the lee powder through expander die in various sizes and widths to perfectly fit to different bullet sizes but they aren't readily available in europe.
    Personally i size and decap with no lube on my lee APP and then clean (if needed at all, with really clean burning powder i've been able to re-use revolver brass up to three times before i had any issues, mainly the PTE sticking) and simply have a redding or RCBS expander on station 1, i'm getting a lee short charging die to avoid any additional case flaring from the lee powder measure.
    I haven't seen maxam powders before, neither have i seen these italian cast boolits, what's the pricing on them like? My local ammo/reloading/black powder guy (who i cannot praise enough) now has ares bullets at really damn good prices (cheaper than plated LOS, which is usually the cheapest you could find around here) aswell as the german moly coated WM bullets for great prices but i'm always interested in good deals, especially on quality stuff...
    by any chance do you have any experience with bullets from "target bullets" also in italy? their three types of plated bullets are pricy by my standards but their hardcast lubed ones are seemingly very reasonably priced (and also *incredibly* hard at 23BHN, might be pretty good for full send magnum?)

      Hi Robin. Thanks for stopping by the channel🙏🙏👍👍. The Grimnir3D work absolutely perfect. No issue at all. About the new expanders I came across a video few weeks back and got to know about these new upcoming by Lee. The issue I had I solved after a few test. All need was just a little more flare. All work fine for now. with copper coated or FMJ heads even works better.
      Maxam was very common here in Europe but the company went bust a year ago so now it is hard to find. It is a great propellant and 100% clean as they get. Ares Bullets are great. I have used them before. These that I have here are as good if not better, Plus they cost less. I got the 9mm124 heads for $55/1000 and the 45ACP230 at $120/1000. Company is called PJB Polymer and they are mostly contactable via Facebook.
      Target bullets are also very very common here. I have used them in 45ACP203g but I had minor issues with say 1% not having a perfectly diametric ogive.
      Best, Copper plated ever used, in any caliber are the Frontier bullets from South Africa, but they are extremely expensive and hard to get here.
      Best FMJ ever used are from Fiocchi Italy. They are made to perfection in any way.
      Take acre and thanks so much for stopping by. Sorry for late reply. For one reason or another YT continues disabling the comments field for this clip.

      @@ReloadingMoreAD1966 55$/1000??? hot DAMN that's cheap!
      the .45's are pretty much in line with what my guy is charging me for 250 packs of the ares .45's though, but those 9mm's are definitely a steal
      the frontiers seem like a good option if i ever get a .44m desert eagle or something, they don't seem *that* pricey to me but if you compare the 9cpr 9mm vs 5.5cpr 9mm i get what you mean, they seem pretty okay on pricing for the bigger/heavier stuff though. Figure most of the cost is the fact they take equal amounts of equipment and worktime to make wheareas PJB seems to base their cost almost entirely off of the material cost?
      when you say the ogive isn't perfectly diametric do you mean that they're deformed or do you mean that some of them aren't sized to the advertised diameter on the box?

    • @ReloadingMoreAD1966
      @ReloadingMoreAD1966  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Hello Robin. The ogives are mostly all according to specified diameter but every now and than you get a deformed one. with added coat, missing lead, added lead and so one. Take care and have a great weekend.

    Molto bene, personalmente sono molto soddisfatto della 6000, anche se alcuni particolari potevano anche farli in acciaio anzichè in plastica
    Hai visto il mio nuovo video sulla placcatura con rame delle ogive, vengono veramente molto molto bene?

    • @ReloadingMoreAD1966
      @ReloadingMoreAD1966  Před 2 měsíci

      Bounasera Franco. Sì, la 6000 funziona molto bene ma penso che avrebbero potuto fare meglio alcune cose. Per me, il problema più grande è che la testa della matrici è fissa. Odio quel sistema.
      Inoltre non mi piace affatto il manico a palla.
      OK. Ciao e alla prossima. "Perdonami per aver risposto tardi. Per un motivo o per l'altro YT continua a disabilitare il campo dei commenti per questa clip."
