    I own a 2024 2500 Denali Ultimate. I have owned a 2016, 2018, 2019, Chevy High Country Duramax. I drive a lot. My 2018 I got rid of , it had over 300k miles, with ZERO issues, and ZERO maintenance except oil changes and glow plugs. My 2019 has 150k. The 2024 Denali is amazing, comforatable, powerful, fuel efficient, and is a pleasure to drive. This truck has like 15 camera views, power everything, full stitched leather interior, stereo system is incredible, bluetooth stereo system in the tailgate, four wheel drive, a diesel motor that will probably go 500k miles, with nearly 1000 pounds of torque. My seats are heated and air-conditioned, it had dual zone climate control, power running boards, power sun roof, power telescoping mirrors, and on and on. It is a HUGE piece of steel with incredible durability. I would say who are the idiots paying 60k for an average crossover, and 100k for a Mercedes sedan!

    I have 2024 Denali in the frost tricoat with the dark brown interior and duramax diesal. I love it. The best truck made I put a 2” front level kit and redid the alignment and put 17x9 method 715 brushed with 34” AT tires and the handling improved and the ride is perfect. The 22s ride is ok but now I have a 2” lift and I can off road it. The MPG stayed about the same the duramax is crazy good motor

    Great video 👍👍👍
    Thank you for keeping these reviews as real as possible without hypocrisy like other journalists sold out to manufacturers.
    As for this 100K truck, sure it is pricey but GM can they make it to last 20-25 then there is great value in this truck. Remember, those late 80s early 90s Bonneville, LeSabre or Park Avenue with 3800 Series those were great value and quality relative to the price point.

    Nice review as usual, Brian. Are you living back in the GTA or just visiting?

    Nice truck Brian but wow, pickup trucks have sure gotten expensive! I'm currentlly driving a GMC and its been very reliable.

      Good stuff. This truck blew my mind as soon as I opened the door. Finishing was amazing and it's about as polished as you can get with a half ton. I understand why people by these, but my personal tastes run toward the AT4X.

    Full size 'luxury' pick ups are rotting on dealer lots. The current auto lending market with 5-8% finance rates(if you are lucky) has significantly negatvely impacted large high dollar trucks for now.

    GMC is asking Mercedes Benz S class money for this?

      If you're talking 2004 dollars, sure.

      @@BrianMakse A mercedes S class will depreciate 50% in 3 or 4 years. It is the piece of crap. It might go 150k miles, and then its huge repair bills. A gmc Denali diesel will last 500k miles, and will be much more fun to own and use. I have one. I also have high end cars like mercedes and Porsche. My 2019 Chevy Duramax Diesel is worth 80 per cent, right now, of what they get for a new one. My friend just sold his 2018 Duramax for 5k less than he paid for it 6 years ago.

    is it worth it??? it's a flipping pickup truck for (whom ever) sake, no, let me repeat no, regardless of how much "luxury" you say it has and the memory of your father, no, no pickup truck is worth that kind of money, jeez, when will people come back to reality

    This video should have been made as a Short. Do the normal intro, ask the title question. Look straight at the camera, and say "NO!" Then immediately transition to the merch plug, and the outro, including the "Especially on Reddit" part.
    The good news, is that it is highly likely that short would have more views than youre entire channel has received. The had news, is that it would likely piss of GM, and they would remove you from their press pool. But...worth it??? 🤣

    • @BrianMakse
      @BrianMakse  Před 5 měsíci

      Four things. 1. What did you buy at the merch store? 2. It's a fantastic truck, but not for me. My tastes run to the AT4X. 3. Someone at GM did indeed try to get me banned. He got fired. I still enjoy testing GM vehicles. 4. If we look at the quality of content on CZcams as a direct result of access to GM's press fleet, it seems that some people could film themselves on a Silverado's tailgate eating a messy sandwich and that would be acceptable.
