Hello. Thanks for your video. Question for you; what size Amp fuse should I get to replace the one that came with multimeter? It only shows the voltage - F630amH 250V on the one that apparently blew, but it doesn't tell me what current should be on the fuse. I checked at Amazon and they do sell them, but from a minimum of 0.5A to a maximum of 10A. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

So 630mAh is other wise 0.63A. You should never replace a fuse with one that has a higher capacity/rating. If you can’t find a 630mAh 250v fuse then replace it with the .5A 250v fuse but remember that now that Amp port is rated at 500mAh. The reason why you want to go smaller instead of bigger is because that fuse is there to help protect your device from being blown/fried. If you have a fuse that is related higher then recommended, you take the rise of that fuse not protecting your device.

Would this be a good “starter” multimeter? I’m looking to get one to learn on and be a little more self reliant.

No I wouldn’t recommend using this multimeter as a starter model. I have to other review videos as well as a how to video on how to use a multimeter for beginners if you want to check them out. Any of those 3 I use/review would work good.
