That was such a great, detailed breakdown of season 1! Boa at the end was so confusing and also a WTF moment. I didn’t recognize her at first. I’m hopeful SM won’t try to fit all the SM groups into Aespa’s universe and make it too complicated. If it’s just Boa, then that will be good.

I have a theory that the 3 guys ( ningning's friends ) were the 3 smrookies who were introduced last year and was supposed to be in a new unit of nct. there's a comment here which says the lore is rush and their songs don't talk about their universe but they do. all of their tts and 2 bsides are related to their universe. according to this person, the girls are pretending everything is fine, well duh they defeated bm and they think things sorted out but they aren't aware of the "new villain." so they're obviously thinking everything is fine JAJAJAJAJA. nothing is rushed here. in my opinion the lore is well done. people just needs to listen to the songs and watch the eps and then connect the dots. basically the eps are the breakdowns of the songs. black mamba = their introduction to bm ep1 explains it in detail + the effect of how bm is destroying everything. next level = their way to flat where they meet naevis and then they go to kwangya. aengery = their introduction to themselves savage = they got trapped in the hallucination quest and they finally got out of it. they thought things were fine but bm appears to attack them. in the end of the song you can even hear them saying "what?" ep2 is the full breakdown of next level and savage. illusion = basically bm preying on them and thinking she's sassy and powerful 🙄 ( she was kinda hot tho ) girls = they finally defeated black mamba. ep3 talked about it in more detail.
Personally, I fundamentally disagree with your reasoning at the end of the video. SMCU doesn't deprive groups of their concepts and lore. Everyone will remain with their own, but at the same time they will advance in one universe, for example, like Marvel heroes. Each group and solo artist will have their own specific role in the SMCU, and their lore will be revealed and developed within the framework of a common universe. By the way, SMCU was planned long before the advent of aespa. If you watch at past MVs before "Black Mamba", you can find at least hints of connection in some of them.
I felt so dumb like I should know who the child prophecy was or if BOA created the villains because it wasn't clear. I wanted them to flesh out the lore a bit more so we could understand it better. Guess we just have to wait.

Im a little late but most of sm groups all connect together in certain ways. Also the mv does connect with the episodes, like when novice sends them to black mamba in the mv black mamba it connects it all
the mvs do line up, you need to think more. the first ep is before he black mamba mv and the end of the second episode is where you see the exact same decor as in the black mamba mv at the end and the savage mv at the beginning of the episode the mvs just show longer parts of the episodes, fore example: next level is when they are in kwanya going to the FLAT, and the savage mv is them following the butterfly and then hallucinating because of the black mamba, dreams come true is them just kind of chilling in kwanya and girls mv is after ep 3, they are mainly just hacking there as you can see at the end the blackmamba is connected to all of those computers.

Épisode 1 was better and fresher, Karina , ning ning , Giselle Winter were more free , and the acting was better. Because of the heavy filter on their skin They look frozen and the voice acting is too flat for a battle. Since the girls are so lively and put a lot of effort but the 3rd épisode was the worst one story wise. BUT the 2D animation is phenomenal, the graphic AT THE end are great , the girls looks fabulous as always.
