Hi Kurt, it’s always a tough battles with hawks! I feel your pain! Just wanted to share- I have seen flyers hang shiny objects like CDs or disco balls around their loft (something that reflects light) or use air inflatable dancing tubes to keep hawks away from their loft and has had success. It maybe worth a try 😁
HI, Kurt! I've just learned that in Australia the peregrine falcon is a resident bird of prey. It is actually a subspecies called Falco peregrinus macropus. On the other hand, here in South America we have the Falco peregrinus tundrius, which is a migrating bird from Alaska, and I've noticed that this subspecies arrives here in Brazil by the end of October/beginning of November and remains here until mid April. They never nest here; they just rest, moult and feed mainly on urban pigeons before they go back to the North hemesphere to breed .In short, we have the presence of the peregrine falcon in Brazil for half a year only. What a pity it isn't the same in your country. That would give your pigeons some time to rest and recover from being chased on a daily basis.
Hi Kurt I can only imagine how your feeling and it’s not good, it’s so draining on you, after all the hard work your doing to try get them into shape but I have to say there is some well bred racing pigeon’s in the loft, hopefully we’ll see you in a couple of days with an update👍, 🇮🇪DUBLIN🇮🇪
I feel your pain with falcons. I’ve had a Cooper’s Hawk nearly decimate my small flock of 12 birds over the winter months. Had only 3 males left. Was really irritating but I can’t bring myself to eliminate the hawk either cause I love all birds.
Hello, I am from Qld and I am having the exact same problem with Falcons, goshawks and harriers ATM with both my race birds and chickens sadly but luckily I've been there to scare them off but sadly they have gotten a few of my birds and I cannot get rid of them because they r native and protected so I don't know how we r gonna deal with them aye.
If the falcons are consistent on your tosses , change the direction, the birds will still learn, gain fitness and importantly confidence. I think line of flight tossing is a myth ??? Maybe

Kurt is it possible you can fire gun in the air so you can scare the falcon 😢
Maney what happened to the Tiger Grizzles I haven't seen them in a minute?
Could you not get a lazer light to shine at the falcons around your loft
Try grief Vogel type of some anti falcon spray available in your country. Apply some antiseptic or turmeric powder on the wounds of the injured birds
❤❤❤❤❤
I was meant to say North hemisphere...
why don't you try using the crow calling sound like Robertson family racing pigeons, seems like it works against birds of prey
Well kurt hopefully it can only get better
