I’ve got one had apart to repair twice first was circuit board slamming in lower gear fixed second issue was sticking low or high solenoids packed with filter debris or something plus mush in bottom of pan almost like aluminum jelly now it’s like it’s in sand fighting itself to move what should I do
Hi I purchased liquid moly fluid designed for this transmission but I just realized that it doesn't have an official Mercedes approval although it does meet the specification. Pentosin Afe has an approval. Do you thing transmission fluid that meets the specification and is designed to only use in the 7gtronic with no MB approval is safe or risky?
So I am in the process of reassembling mine at the moment. However, I am stuck. I can’t get the case back on because it seems like the K3 clutch drum won’t align with the B2 Drum in the back of the case. Do you have any advice
Hello bill I'm working through an issue on my 722.9 / I found this piece of information in a forum but the image of the port layout wasn't accessible. "If you have the valve body out you can air pressure test the K1 by putting air to the hole in the trans case for K1" do you know how I could complete this test or have a picture of the port layout?
