I'm here for the chaotic, creative energy of sleep deprived Oli. Those grots are the icing on the cake, adding just that final piece of haphazard personality to the scratch-bash. Just an idea: you could add some 'rope' rigging using string pulled taught between the crows nest and another other part of the ship.
You need a green stuff pipe roller. Get some pipes and ducts all over the place! They'd look wicked in the figurehead-gun

the best advice for making ork stuff is don't plan it and just build it, Ork structures don't have to make sense since it could be held in place with spit, and if an Ork believes their spit is glue then its true
Id recommended the planks be a bit more randomised and some struts holding up the crows nest from the mast. I love the grot aditions, i always use those for easy ork kitbashes.
Absolutely agree, I'll slice some of the planks up before priming!

She's a beaut der matey, great idea for them flash gitz.
But I think you forgot da rokkits and it needs more spikey bits and lil trophies, not quite flashy enough, your details should start to overlap to keep to their theme
