The Vault door can protect nuclear Blast and radiation, but not bb pellets. A Room that just makes clothes needs to be bigger than a room that magically creates food, water, and electricity. You can have a early baby just by drinking blue nuka cola. You have your name changed by the overseer, mines buttz-megie. If you die, you can get resurrected by giving away like 40 bottlecaps. Guns and Clothes can be scrapped into shovels and Clocks. Radio stations bring in people and deathclaws, but not anyone else in the wasteland. Nope, not even other vaults. You need a recipe to make clothes, but not for bullet healing, radiation executing stimpacks and radaway. Vault-Tec Vaults are something.

Their strength is in numbers. Try having a whole hive of radroaches fight a deathclaw. The thing is for every dead roach like 10 more spawn. Worse than rabbits they are.
1. The vault door can be destroyed with peashooters. 2. Weapon damage and raider health is unpredictable. (Unless you're out exploring.) 3. The fat man, or any explosive weapons do no friendly fire damage when they should. 4. The vault door gets magically repaired when the raiders die. 5. Radroaches are actually deadly, wow. 6. Sending your vault dwellers exploring even though they never seen what the outside looks like, good luck with that.
you should of had it so the raiders randomly walked past into the next room in the middle of the fight instead of dying at the door. it would of been funnier to incorporate that crap logic. either that or in the middle of a deathclaw attack if bottle and cappy just randomly came in like usual and all the settlers just became super happy and careless about being ripped to shreds

It's a joke about how they all just grab a character sheet at random instead of sifting for the one with their name on the "Player" blank.
