Brave man tony,id only go to bonnie Scotland in a tent,weather is too unpredictable for me.
Trailstar or Cricket easily fine 🙂 this time of year esp ts. I've used this tarp in worse weather ie check hard knot trip in lakes and this was easy so I had no issues with this setup comfy light spacious
But yeah it was a carefully calculated plan. More episodes will follow

Tony... having a Keron 4GT and a number of different, most sophisticated tents at home, I wonder what drove you putting yourself in such sort of endeavor... it must be of expermental nature, I reckon.

Tony, if you had to pick one, the Grace Duo or the Cricket, which one would you pick?
What for what weather and is weight critical 🤔 I'd suggest cricket for most .... only bit heavier in grand scheme plus potentially easier to live in with. This is more specialised. Check my other episodes as they appear. You'll note many would probably put pole at back... in all but great weather... my famous long line and high front pole gives space where its needed front by door
