How to Get Classic Kratos, Legacy Rage and Spartan Armor - God of War Ragnarok!

- In my recent video, I just focused on the Classic Kratos appearance. I did not talk about how to get the Legacy Spartan Rage and some other rewards. This should cover it all up. Make sure to speak with Freya and Sigrun after finishing Valhalla. You’ll get the prompt that new rewards are now available in Ragnarok.

I'm not an OG fan of God of War but known about it since PS2 and this free update is such fan service. This gives me hope and I imagine other players that one day we will receive remakes of the original games, they did not have to put this much effort into this at all.

Bro this armor set is so fire, also if you want to have the ps2 GOW2 armor from the beginning of the game when kratos is god of war you can just equip the Aries chest plate and keep the wrist and waist of glory of Sparta. This game is legendary

The whole dlc is awesome. I'm currently doing a god of war Marathon and I just find it awesome to have the classic skin and blade of Olympus back.
That marathon sounds fun. The DLC is incredible. You have to play it to believe it!

I already played ng+ before beating valhalla but didnt finish it so i made another new game plus but the chest was already open for some reason so i wasnt able to get anything could uoi help with this
Try revisiting from another realm or just visit a shop elsewhere

I wish the “Up” Button allows us to separately wield the Blade of Olympus.
I mean the left button are the Blades of Chaos, the down button gives us the spear and the right button gives us the Leviathan Axe.
The normal Blade of Olympus wielding will just be what it is, a powerless but powerful weapon. Once in Legacy Rage, we will be able to unleash the true power of the Blade of Olympus but only when we are in Spartan Rage.
Good idea. Wonder if we will get a new weapon for Kratos in the next game

That Leviathan Axe and those Blades of Chaos probably will not leave Kratos anytime soon. Leviathan Axe for obvious reasons and Blades of Chaos because they are bound to him, literally and figuratively. And he probably won’t be ditching the Draupnir Spear anytime soon either as long as he has the ring.
Kind of ironic when you think about it. In the original Greek games, Kratos kept on losing his weapons. Except for his Blades, of course. Blades of Chaos, Athena and Exile although different by name served the same purposes.
But in the Norse Era, Kratos gets to keep them.
To use the appearance from the beginning id need a save in ng+ from that point?

You need to complete the DLC first before these can be made available on the base game
And then they’ll be available for all your save files once you get them from Sindri’s

You know. I'm recently playing NG+ and don't really understand what's the difference between the level 9 classic and level 1 simple spartan armor set (besides the level of course).
The new one provides better stats (I think)
Hold on, I did beat Valhalla and I want to get Glory of Sparta armor, but I didn't found in New Game + tho. What I heard it inside the chest but which chest is it?
You can go to Sindri’s house and open the chest next to it. Or any Blue Chest next to the shop

You need to first beat Valhalla and see the ending scene. After that, just load up your Ragnarok save file and go to Sindri’s to open the chest. Or Lunda’s shop.

How much time you needed for valhalla i played till Helios mission :)
Depends on your difficulty. If on easy you can complete it in 2-3 hours
I beat the Valhalla DLC and did this but yet I’m getting nothing, hell I can’t even change to the classic appearance anymore.
Try restate game and make sure the latest update is installed

If you play it on the recommended difficulty or easier, you can finish it in around 3-4 hours
I beat the game and got the reward, and turned in to young kratos in the dlc, but when I tried to do it in gow, it didn’t let me, and I also reset the game too

@@Animated_sock if it’s your first playthrough, the rewards become available after you beat the final boss. Or if you’re in NG+, they should be there as soon as you reach Sindri’s house
I completed both Valhalla and the story, I'm in new game + on gow difficulty, I arrived at Sindr's house for the first time and I still don't have the Spartan legacy...
You got the message that the new items are available after you finished Valhalla?
Yes bro, I even already have the young look in the NG+, and the message when opening the trunk at Sindri's house was "got items". But seeing the spartan rage at the menu, "legacy" does not appear.

So you only get everything in the new game plus, not the original one?
in your first playthrough, you get them after you get the ending (I think)

You can get it on your first playthrough as well when you reach Sindri’s house. But you have to finish the Valhalla DLC first

I don’t get it. I’ve beaten Valhalla. I’ve looked in the workshop. Looted chest. Still havnt gotten classic look or armor. What am I doing wrong?

@@akhafasu yes I did all of that. I got the prompt. Talked to freya. It said I was done with Valhalla. Still nothing. Does it have to be new game plus? Because I’m seeing things that say it has to be new game plus.
@@west6843 the earliest you can access them is when you reach Sindri’s house on a new game. In NG+ you can get them from his house or any blue chest next to his shop

I beated valhalla but when I opened the chest I just got hack silver (please don't tell me I have to do NG+)

Im playing on gmgow and idk if its glitched but my game is super easy and all enemies die within 3 hits max, even when i use weak armor. Does anyone know why this is? It’s frustrating because i love a challange
What do you mean it’s easy?
Well im playing in the hardest difficulty and the enemies die in two hits, even level 10 enemies. I even changed my armor to the weakest and im still op, im not sure how to fix it

I can't find the Legacy (yes I'm on ng+ and the blue chest is open)
Did you open the chest or was it open from before (like you opened earlier in your save file)?
@@akhafasu it was open from before. I didn't play for a while but I'm at the moment when brok dies.
@@kratoschaos2639 just go to another realm and come back and the chest should be closed again

Do I need to 100% Valhalla or just get to the point where Kratos decides to join Freya?
You need to complete 7 cycles to see the ending
@@akhafasu 7 cycles? I've seen Kratos sit on the throne and I just kept going back through. Sigrun has decided to explore who she is when nobody what anything of her, Mimir no longer leaves my hip and I have beaten Tyr about 12 times.
@@fatecontested6859 if you saw him sit on the throne then that was the ending. Which means you did Valhalla 7 times and defeated Tyr 4 times

@@VIPER-76 you can manually save the game to any additional save slots you like. If you’ve completed the Valhalla DLC you should have the Classic Kratos appearance, the new Spartan armor and the Legacy Spartan Rage

You have to open Nornir chests to get those items that increase your health and rage. I have videos on where they are and how to unlock them region wise:

Yes, to get this reward you must beat the DLC. You can complete it on the easiest difficulty if you want to

@@Tenxeh oh there is a challenge for you in the DLC. It’s called the Developers Challenge and it is tough. You can complete that anytime after you finish the DLC
