This uses the concept of arbitrage sports betting (sportsbetting) and takes advantage of the customer first $1000 risk free bet offered on many sportsbooks including Fanduel Sportsbook, Draftkings Sportsbook, Caesars, BetMGM and BetRivers.
I go over how to hedge the risk free bet and the bonus bet with another sportsbook and how to use OddsJam odds comparison software to find the best opportunities to place these bets on. Thank you for all this information. I was a little confused because I had forgot in your example, DraftKings includes the stake in the payout while fanduel does not. And I also was a little confused because when I ran $800 at 70% on oddsjam I got 560, not 571. But I really am grateful you showed that the best odds for a risk free bet is ALSO at the free bet conversion. It was what I had thought to be true, but was told to look at low hold odds but it didn't seem like the return on it was as good as it could be. And instead of looking around trying to find long odds that have similar odds with the favorite, oddsjam has it right there for you. Perfect. Last thing, I'm not sure where you got 1600 from. In the numbers I ran on risk free calculator they said to bet 1747 for a guaranteed 332.84. Did you or your friend decide to do that to potential get a higher payout if the risk free bet hit? Thanks again!
This could be a profit opportunity under the right conditions, but a few potential problems here:
1. Make sure to check all of the terms and conditions before claiming a sportbookâs promotion. These often contain important stipulations such as how long you have to use your free beta, or in some cases, playthrough requirements that will take away all of your expected profit plus more.
2. Winnings from sports betting is considered taxable income, and sports books will send a form to both you and the IRS if you have a net win of at least $600 for the year. If you do not itemize deductions on your tax return, then you cannot deduct losses from other sportsbooks. This can easily take away all of your profits plus more. For example, if you win $2500 from DraftKings and lose $2000 to FanDuel, then you may have to pay tax on $2500.
I rather do it the lazy way which is not itemize anything and put 28% aside for every time I win, that way the irs can take the money I put away for them!

This only seems worth it if you already have a ridiculously large bankroll, where you can afford to bet 2-3k on one bet from one book. Thatâs an amount I have spread out between 12 books.
Is there a max bet you can bet on something? for example I want to bet on a boxing match this weekend and on Fanduel that same bet has a max bet of $100. On Draft Kings I dont see a max bet option. So is there a limit to how much we can bet?

As an American we are at a huge disadvantage to do arbitrage because we are so bookie limited compared to other countries like Australia or England and many more. If you did it just to get the risk free money and cashed out it beats just blowing it all with a silly bet obviously.
Oddsjam looks expensive and it would be fine if we had access to most online bookies but unless you used VPN and could fool them with that and a fake address what is the appeal for an American to do it?

Isn't that a $320 loss instead of a $480 net profit?
