  • đŸ‘‹đŸ» Hey guys! In today's video, I explain how I used maths to make money from sports betting (sportsbetting) and in the end got banned from promotions and had my stake size limited. This method is called arbitrage betting which is a risk free way to make a profit from betting. I explain all about arbitrage betting in this video with some examples. Hope you guys can find it insightful but please do more research first on arbitrage betting before betting any of your actual money.
🏆 🏆 For those who do want to learn in depth the arbitrage and positive EV strategies I use with real practical examples to help you get started, then you can check out my 5 - part sports betting course over on my website at:

To those saying this is gambling, it's actually not gambling if you are covering every outcome which you are with arbitrage betting. It is a mathematical way to guarantee a profit regardless of the outcome, so that is not gambling, it's actually kind of the opposite to gambling. There are lot's of things in life with varying amounts of risk but this is actually zero risk, providing you can find the opportunities.

Me and a buddy made over 100k each arbitrage betting NBA, NFL (getting massive line discrepancies with player props eg: rebs, assis, pts, rec yards, rush yards etc)... It only lasted about a year but that also included renting accounts off friends and family because they restrict betting sizes pretty much to 1$. We moved onto American greyhound betting because there were huge odds discrepancies with Australian bookies, but now they've caught onto that and is pretty much dried up... looking for new ways to kill the bookies. Some years ago in my country there were some racetracks that on important meeting days (those days where G1 races take place) added a big pot increment to winner bet, this usually makes all horses pay a lot more than usual. This days you could find guys with notebooks making the Arbitrage calculations and making bets. The thing is: "the house" lost so much money those days that they had to change that completely and implement an outdoor roulette where the increment they would place to winner pot would be set randomly and AFTER the race.
This sort of arbitrage is much harder to calculate than the examples here, specifically because odds keep on changing all the time even when the horses are already entering the gates, because every bet people do keep changing the odds.

Bookies will also change the odds to balance each side. If betting is heavily one sided, the bookies will be out of pocket if that side wins so they will offer better odds to the other side to encourage more bets there. This can open up arbitrage opportunities between bookies too.

Am surprised! I did the same math some six years ago and found it profitable but with a few caveats. Since I was relying on a single platform, mine was to find the "perfect" odds on the same platform (regardless of the match/event) where betting on both the WIN and DRAW/LOSS still made me profit. I found some but came to know that they realized the loophole and sealed it with time. Finding the perfect odd was kinda difficult because it really needs some graphing of the movement of profit or loss across the different odd levels. I even thought of building my own software that would just hunt down all odds possible and bring back the ones that events that matched the rule but never really went through with it. To see that you did it more so across different platforms and it worked is just awesome. Am encouraged to return to the drawing board to perfect my technique. I love this mate. Thanks!

I came looking for someone else doing this. I first had this idea in 2000 but it was a logistical impossibility then. I decided to look at it again during the slams of 2022 and God damn! The amount of Bookies I saw with different favourites! It was like catching fish in a barrel. I also love the Cashout game. Got a 67% profit within about three minutes. What sort of Donut would go out to work? Can't wait for the next slam. Got more screens than NASA LOL.
I had so many excellent ones. Had a fair few today on the ATP. Sometimes there are mad minutes where 15% yields are grabbed. Beware of BetVictor if you win by a walkover they welch and just give your stake back!

FYI part of the reason this method works with different bookmakers is they are doing arbitrage on the backend as well. If they have $1000000 bet on team a and $2000000 bet on team b, in a sense they don't really care about the real odds of either team winning. The odds will be just under 1.5 and 3 to cover their risks. They don't really care what the real odds are, so in a way this just reflects prejudices of different markets.

@@ayanaalemayehu2998 Local markets vary, for example in the old days I understand the home team would get worse odds because everyone was betting on the home team. Fewer people betting on each match could result in different markets having more divergent odds.
But I am sure not every match has this opportunity. It is a matter of finding the right situation.

There are multiple other considerations that need to be accounted for. Principally the possible outcomes - Win, Loss, Draw or NO RESULT needs to be taken into account. The fine print also goes without mentioning - often there are stipulations that they can refuse to pay-out.
    I will add this...
Profiteering from Arbitrage should be legal in a free and open market (be it betting; or products, services etc.). An at the individual vs. institution/government level this can seem unfair when it's not. However, in certain situations, the reason certain markets exist in a region/jurisdiction/territory, is because of agreements/contracts/government level negotiations between countries, industries etc. to provide a certain service/product etc. that would otherwise not be available (e.g. medicines, vehicles) as the cost/expense may otherwise be too great for a company to even consider offering it in that territory. Inadvertently, arbitrage can undermine the value and lead to withdrawal from that market and secondarily greatly affect that population. This may seem trivial when it's a luxury good or item, but can be catastrophic when it is potentially a live-saving/extending medicine or service. These companies then would just cater and pander to markets/economies where they can maximise their profit-making algorithms. This is a bigger and more ethically nuanced question than it may seem at first glance. But when it comes to sports betting, I'm all for it. These guys contribute so much to financial and social problems.

Few questions please who have experience: 1. how much can you make roughly before getting banned? 2. can't you just register with another email account and continue where you left off? 3. if getting banned is pretty much inevitable then shouldn't one start betting high amounts to maximize profit before getting banned, or the fact that I do $1000 bets vs. $100 bets will ring an extra bell and result in getting banned sooner?
