Whichever DAC you are using to get the analog out, why not channel that analog directly to the amplifier? You must be having a good reason to have the analog stored on tape first? It can’t be just a nostalgia. I am curious.

Hello sir I have a quick question < I have a sony walkman WM-D6 , when I put battery on it after so long in storage, it briefly sounded when I played the cassette , but the sound faded away ,and now no sound at all, is this a sign of a capacitor breakdown , that need to be replaced after so many yrears? it play when I press play. rewinds and fastforward. Please help.

An overpriced, overrated, and COSTLY to repair deck! It's got bells and whistles GALORE, but do you need those to make an EXCELLENT tape, not REALLY!🙄

The best was the Tandberg 3014 AKA the Dragon slayer. Sorry NAK fans.
