Excellent Excellent Excellent Tutorial ! I have my 1200 connected as a traditional mixer as well as a Serato DJ Controller. The controller allows you to switch from mixing with the platter, to control vinyl and regular vinyl. I am very happy with the DJ-505 and your quick tutorial made it even better. Roland should pay you to make tutorials for their DJ equipment. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Hi everyone I own the roland dj 505 but I need a reverse/censor button I had been able to do it on the novation twitch but it was more easier on Itch... Could someone PLEASE help me ? Cheers4now
Use slip mode and backspin the platter. Or... do anything while in slip mode.
@@thisdj83 I think I can map the cue button or the play to reverse, and then censor while slip...
@@oliviergaridou8525 I would map one of the fx knobs since you have 3 and really dont use all 3 at one time. However, whatever works best for you is what you should do. You would be the one using it. You should post something once you get a good grip on the 505. I am thinking about going for the 808. Just minor things I think I would use but the 505 is actually something I been researching extensively.
i asked my friend and he said it does not have one your going to have to edit it out in post or get a clean version from bpm
