Just fyi, (you may have learned this in the two years since posting) the dropbox is meant to be played with the front of the foot. Only the classic can pick up heel strikes.
Why on earth was the Dropkick played with the heel rather than on the wooden bar above the pickup? No idea what it sounds like!

I have a feeling the wood deck might sound different than other floors.
Yeah I didn't even consider that. I have a timber deck with slats so a hard concrete floor or a soft carpet might react differently

HA! man... right... its amazing how critical and almost offended that your FREE VIDEO you did didn't meet their standards...... dear god.. if he did think the volume was too low. Well it's not on my end here for what it's worth but... he could come at it like "Thanks for the video! On my end it would have been a bit easier to hear if you levels were up a bit.. but thank you!
