  • January 13, 1996 - Rookie Stackhouse came into this game saying how over the summer he was whooping Jordan's butt down in North Carolina, so Jordan took it out on him and Vernon 'Mad Max' Maxwell, who also had some choice words for he and Pippen. I live in the Philly suburbs (Bucks County at the time of this game). This was the 1st game I got to see MJ & the Bulls in person. My sister got me tickets to it for Christmas. Was absolutely surreal and amazing to see him in person for the 1st time. He owned Stackhouse all night. While he didn't do any amazing dunks, to see him score 48 in 3 quarters on all jumpshots was just insane! Plus at the end of the game, we we're sitting right by the players entrance, I got a high-five from John Paxson who was an assistant coach for the bulls at the time. Never forget this game!!!

Not even ranked in Detroit’s top 25 players. He was ranked 295th on Slams top 500 all time. Toni Kukoc was number 250 lol 😂. He was just overrated to me and his only real accomplishments are lasting 18 years, two all star appearances no starts and named to the all rookie team. MJ is such a good player because his efficiency was seen on almost every play. The ball never stopped, kept moving and MJ stuck with what he was good at - mid range and driving layups. The fluidity of motion helps conserve energy on every play. All that energy saved means playing with a clearer mind, making better decisions, rather than being fatigued allowing him to be more switched on in the clutch.

When Kenyon Martin laughed and said Jordan has back pains due to old age..Jordan out scored him with 44 points and carried the Wizards' victory. How can you break him as the first NBA player in history to record 200 steals and 100 blocked shots in a season? You might say..nah! today's era is faster and quicker than Jordan's era. Well, have you heard the historical victories of Reggie Miller and Tracy McGrady aka T-Mac? Reggie scored 8 points in just 9 seconds. Then T-Mac sank 13 points in just 35 seconds. Damn! their teams won respectively! does Bron, Wade, curry, rose, Westbrook etc. could do that? if they can..but when?
