      Jordans career high from 3 is much higher than Kobe and LeBron in 95-96 season he shot 42.7% from 3 .. So if Jordan WANTED to be a threat from 3 that percentage right there alone says he could have been an elite three point scorer if he wanted to be one

    Jordan was not a GOOD 3 point shooter but a GREAT one . In our ERA . The ERA of REAL basketball it wasn’t the NORM to hoist 3 point shots & have no post players or REAL post moves & no mid range game like the game is now . Whenever he wanted he shot them & made them just like Reggie or Dell curry . No weakness to his game . No FLAWS. Just REAL skills without a debate about who’s the GREATEST. R.I.P. REAL basketball 🏀.

    • @Mmacrossfirekenai
      @Mmacrossfirekenai Před 2 lety

      Actually, he wasn't a great 3-point shooter at all and he also wasn't nearly as consistent as Reggie or Dell Curry. They had to shorten the 3-point line for him to improve. And while Michael was clearly the greatest player of his generation, he wasn't perfect. In particular, Michael didn't like to fight through screens on defence. That meant he was susceptible to players like Reggie Miller, and Larry Bird, who could kill you just by running off screens alone. The second thing was he could be beaten off the dribble by smaller guards, Isiah Thomas, Tim Hardaway. Now, this wasn't a Jordan-specific weakness as many big guards in that era had the same weakness, but Jordan had it too. A third weakness that Isiah Thomas identified was that Jordan didn't trust his teammates. That one in particular was one of the major weaknesses that resulted in him not winning a title in his first seven years. He also wasn't a great team player. Also hate to burst your bubble, but there continues to be a debate for the GOAT. Michael has an arguable case, just like many others.

While the ball is in the air, secures it and identifies the helping big, jumping into the guys chest before the big can set his feet, shielding the ball beautifully and picking up the and 1. All of this in a matter of seconds, all of this instantly recognized and executed to perfection. Watching peak mj is like asmr for basketball nerds

Things that are recorded on physical tape technically don't have a pixel limitation. It is an exact copy of what was filmed, whereas video is filmed with some sort of limitation, ie 360 720 1080. This is why old film can be remastered into hd or 4k. I don't know what they used to record old sports, but that would be my guess.

      Tell me what he did better than them? You wanna talk championship teams? Look at who bird played against. There are average players now that would be legendary against those guys. Bird played when the average NBA player was a tall unathletic guy and that's fact. He didn't play against centers that couldove and shoot like Embiid, cousins, Anthony davis, gasol, towns and more. He didn't play against people like Klay or Steph or Reddick or korver that had incredible range and hit threes like free throws. He didn't have to gaurd players like Westbrook or Bron or Wade, Butler or any super athletic player that can do pretty much whatever they want.
