I've never seen a home team crowd cheer for the opposite team. MJ is an eternal legend.
Mj is a legend, but as a life long hawks fan, I've heard the crowd cheer for the other team PLENTY lol
Mike is such a legend... when he retired from Chicago... the Miami Heat retired the #23 jersey!
I get the sentiment of your comment, and I agree MJ is a legend, but crowds cheer for the opposing players a lot bro. Just watch a knicks game 😂
How much basketball you seen? Plenty of times knicks fans cheer a great performance from the opposition, same hawks fans cheered Kobe in 2013 and hell mvp chants for Kobe in Boston in 2007. You need to watch more hoops nigga
I mean if you are a Jew but Jesus comes down from the sky you will cheer for his arrival
When he was young, he played like a bull.. so strong and powerful. When he's old, he played like a wizard with full of magic. Big respect.
Damn, never thought about that.
KAWHI moves slower than old Jordan
ETX Sports that’s Kawhi’s pace you know what I mean? Everybody has their own views of the game.
Nothing but truth
@@jakeblaze7663
Kawhi pace is slow with pump fakes, mid range, playing within the offense...that's why JORDAN would kill this era cuz he's 5 times better than KAWHI and 3 times better than Clyde Drexler whom Kawhi is blue collar like.
MJ broke the NBA. 😂 It doesn't matter where he's playing. Every court is his home court.
I agree every court is Michael's court showing he was the people's player
MJ makes Basket Ball more interesting than before...after he retired Basket ball is so so
and this is after his golden yrs
People don't realize how good MJ was , his fade away was something else , 40 yrs old and still showed the young starts how good still he was , his legacy will remain forever
Actually...I think people do realize how good he was. Even the Amish know it.
MJ is never afraid of this kind of big moment, the patience, the movement to handle each play in the clutch time. Very high IQ on the court.
Michael's presence on the court is just magical.
22 Pts 14 Rebs 6 Ast ZERO Turnovers. That my friend is a 40 y/o MJ.
The Greatest ever!!
Seven assists in the end
The title of this video should be called, "when the home team crowd, forgets their home team

Jordan, during his run, was probably the biggest star there has ever been... It was unreal.
Probably? 😂🤣 There’s no doubt that he was the biggest star.
Mj is the goat baby
Probably? WTF! Are you 12 years old and missed the 1990's?
@@Renegade-jk4ux right probably? Is that guy serious 😳
I get what he saying. As far as a global SuperStar. Not just BBall. He was I'm the category with Michael Jackson (the other MJ lol), Madonna, like dude was bigger than Basketball. I would say, only other person you can argue is Michael Jackson. Jordan's run was even bigger than Magic's run in the 80s. And Magic was BIG.
In the ten games before the meniscus injury he was averaging 29.7 pts and almost two steals AT FORTY yrs old and was getting better as the season went along. How are you forty and putting up max contract numbers? the GOAT, its not even close.
the goat and the greats.
For sure Marcos. FOR SURE❗🐐💯◼
He also had a lot of breaks which helped him to stay productive.
After being out of the game for like 3 years

I was there. Sat with my wife right behind the Wizard's bench (if you pause it at 3:06, I'm the guy in the black Bull's jersey with a blue hat on and both hands in the air just to the right of the Wizards player), front row. I remember thinking that we had gone back in time, because Jordan was suddenly playing like he was 29 again, and the Atlanta crowd was standing on their feet as if they were Bulls fans. It's still the most incredible thing I've ever seen in person. Almost super human.
I was there....when you're watching greatness you cheer for the GOAT. I'm from the ATL and I was cheering for MIKE
You know mj change the game forever when people respect you every where you go
Mj is a game changer.
When you boo your own home team when Jordan came to town😂😂 greatest player to ever live
Lol bro chill out. There’s no such thing as a real hawks fan.
MJ‘s hangtime was something else. Never seen anyone close to it.
I love how everytime another player tries to challenge MJ he scores extra points!!! He loves proving them wrong 💯
MJ once hold the most 3 point shot made in a finals game, He made them all in the 1st half just to prove a point. Some people told him that clyde drexler is a better 3 point shooter than him and he did that to shut them up :D
U know basketball

Yep he hit the championship game winning shot as a freshman at UNC TARHEELS, he's always been able to shoot...at @36% from 3 is the same as kobe...only STEPH changed the game with volume 3's, but Toronto proved you need more than 3's as would The Bulls crush both Toronto and GSW if played in the 2019 FINALS.
And I just love u dear
Michael Jordan will always be a winner and an absolute inspiration
Love how he pushed Terry away. Like boyyy you not dealing with Bron, I'm Mike you ain't on this level....
Is it my imagination or is the crown going wild every time Jordan scores in the Atlanta area? That’s so crazy. That’s what a hero looks like when he can get that kind of response from a random opponents crowd to that degree.
The goat never talks but he does whatever he takes to be GOAT, 40years old MJ is playing like young superstar today, and I think he is still better than any of them. GOAT of NBA, always and never been Replacable

@Jerry Lockhart lebron has been in multiple arenas receiving cheers. Where you been
Just like Kobe Bryant
It’s a close game, and they are cheering for Jordan. The “other guys” will get road cheers in blow outs.
Jordans 1st step was still potent, even at 40. #GOAT
Giant Bear Podcast real talk!!!💯
Even the defender knows MJ is going right, He still made the defender go left LOL.
That is why he is the greatest player of all time !!!
When you get more cheers as the away team you know you're legend.
There's probably a million MJ videos on CZcams with the same moves/plays(highlights) throughout his career. Constant and Consistent.
I was there! I remember seeing Terry saying something to MJ and that push MJ gave to him.. later learned he said, “you’re not the same old Mike” and MJ showed him after that.. that fade-away on the corner is still vivid in my memory because how amazing it looked from my corner seats. I’ll never forget how great the atmosphere was in Phillips Arena seeing Michael Jordan take over a game one more time.. then they give the hawks .6 lol and they luck that shot in and Phillips Arena boos the hawks in Atlanta ! That’s how loved Mike was.
D
Meanwhile, L3-6ron got booed in his "beloved hometown" Cleveland. lmao
I believe you man, great moments
@@-JohnnyWaIker- L3-6ron fucking hilarious
@@ricardohernandez6317 It sure has the sounds to absolutly be true. We know that people didn't like Jordan as much at start, opponents that is, but he conquered them all (except Cleveland lol) and was revered wherever he went. That's just the greatest basketball player of all time. That's just something more than a legend because we were seeing it happening with our own eyes. Everybody who loved basketball, loved Michael Jordan, because he was (is) the epitome of the sport. We see this modern day discussions about who's the goat, but it's pretty much established and quite unreachable.
It's so refreshing to watch a game where players are actually hustling as a team defensively and working hard on defense, these days players conserve so much energy on defense and don't even work that hard, it's just a token thing, they are just there to lightly escort the offensive player and allow easy shots
You know you’re the GOAT when the away team is cheering for you. 😂🤣😂🤣
I remember Metta World Peace saying Wizard's Jordan was harder to guard than prime Kobe. That's insane when Metta W. Peace never played against prime Jordan. Jordan forever The GOAT
Metta never played against prime Jordan, so he wouldn't know.
@@rooseveltdarbey9493 But he played against Wizard's Jordan, which is not a prime Jordan
He also said that Jordan was stronger than Lebron
@@halfshot253 ReaL talk my ninjah!
At his time with the wizards his game style changed to adapt with his age and wear and tear on the body. Dunks and driving to the rim were less frequent. He showcased he’s beautiful fade away jump shot. Which is still the best looking shot in the nba.
was my favorite, but I am partial to a true sky hook these days.... but I grew up like every kid trying to fade away.
No one does it like Mike
idc what anyone says about his second run.......when you actually take the time to analyze the stats and his impact and clutch play he was still top 5 in the league. It was only b/c he got injured why they didn't make the playoffs I remember they lost their next 10 or so games and got bumped out.
Amen
MJ is unpredictable, he can manipulate the defender with just ball fake then 2 hard dribbles and instant jumpshot, or backed down a defender, shoulder fake and fade away. He has so many counter moves on every defense it's crazy, his mental game is above everyone else by a whole planet.
This just proves jordan was the best. Unstoppable! And he did this on defense too at this age. Shut down 24 yr old Vince carter in the 2nd half
You know you are the GOAT when the crowd from the other team is cheering for you haha
Damn this must have been amazing to watch in person. Michael Jordan's pull up jumper was butter !!! GOAT
KRES 1 wow I haven’t heard that word butter in mad long yo 👍🏽
This is why MJ had 6-0 final record,he always had homecourt advantages! Doesn't matter where he play the crowd cheering on him 🤣😂
😂😂😂 facts
There will never be another Jordan man!!! He was in another arena and the crowd still cheered for him and the team. Greatness youngsters will never know see in this generation
@ 1:57 he showed something, only few could notice, while the double is coming he used him as a screen. amazing!
MJ usually moved towards where the double team is coming...making his defender unaware and bumps into the incoming defender or get screened by his own teammate. MJ used this tactic in all of his years playing thats why he always seemed to shoot the ball in mid range uncontested... The IQ is too high.
That is a great observation. Thanks
Great observation..MJ really had an high baskeball IQ .
Same play at 1:37
what is the truth? Yeah I caught that. And never seen it since

Kobe stealing another one of mj's veteran tricks!
Honestly that was a late clock start it's all good Jordan still played his heart out the greatest basketball player of all time!
I was at this game. This game and his All Star game here, man......the crowd was SOOOO LIT!!
The crowd didn’t come to watch their home team but to witnessed Jordan’s twilight career and chance to have a glimpsed before he disembarked for good. No wonder they cheered for every MJ’s shooting to their own hoops. 🤣😂😅
Underrated career as a Wizard. Why he was able to these kind of things at that age, with not too many bad games, playing the complete 82 games season? His IQ and, to me, the most fundamental player ever.
His injury is the reason for that bad wizard career. He was averaging 25-5-5 (only him and Kobe avg that stat in the league) and was a playoff contender in his first season as wizard until the injury happened.
Not even close to Larry Bird in terms of bball IQ and fundamentals. Not saying Bird is better, but it is debatable.
@@euroamerican5189 fuck outta here! Bird was no where near as great as MJ with that 8 inch vertical
@@deegeebarxx3391 if vertical leap is all that made somebody better than Dominique Wilkins would be considered the greatest
@@dvdgway MJ was a way better defender, faster, more athletic, take your pick. Bird was great at shooting, passing and played slightly above average defense but he was not better than MJ mano y mano. When MJ started to shoot instead of dunking all the time he went to an untouched level.
I actually really thought MJ was as epic as ever during his Wizards seasons....I'm glad he gave us all two more seasons of his greatness...Kind of made up for the seasons he skipped between his retirement and then return to the bulls....He still had it even at 40....He kind of changed up his game a little but he still was amazing all around when he played for the Wizards...The NBA was different when he played for the Wizards too so he had to adapt but he is the only person ever to score 50 or more points in a game in 3 different decades! In fact....Nobody else has ever scored 40 points in 3 different decades....And he went for 50 in 3 different decades....He's awesome! He played the part of a playmaker more as a Wizard but he also had games where he just went off and torched other teams for 50 plus....Several games he hit 5, 6, 7, 8 and more shots in a row even! Scored 38 points in a half at 40, nobody else has done that He scored more than 20 points in a single quarter at 40 years old....He was mesmerizing when he stepped out on the court....He added to his untouchable records list as a wizard at 38, 39, and 40 years old....
Damn, all the fans were loving it👍 it's like playing on his home crowd...
MJ is my hero forever.
It seems like the Wizards' home game! Listen to the crowd everytime MJ scored.
Loong Miami has jordan’s Jersey retired in their stadium. Everyone loved jordan and watching him play. He wasn’t like weak Lebron who plays half ass every other game. Then has to go into playoff mode to just quit again haha.
Michael the greatest. Exciting game
No other played with such an elegance, so smooth and precise!
It never stops to amaze me when Jordan is a visiting player and the home crowd is cheering him on while booing the home team
MJ just played with a smooth dominant flow. Game was just easy for him the goat 🐐
Hold up 😂 for the first 3 minutes i was thinking Jordan was at home cause the crowd was cheering for him. Then i finally looked at the court and saw the hawks logo. 😂
Lol!!😂 Ikr? That's what I said.😂

ok but that era was weak
Hell he still averaged 21 and shot 45 percent. Most young players would kill for one season at old man Jordans numbers. MJ beefed up to play SF those seasons and changed his game and he did great. MJ is GOAT any day. Any age.
MJ was the only player in my life time that when you went back to work the next day, people talked nothing but MJ and the bulls. I'm talking people who were never NBA fans. That was the greatness of the GOAT. No player has since been able to do that....none!

I always get a kick out of people saying he couldn't do the things he did when he was young in today's game. Here is proof in the 21st Century, this century, that Michael still would kill it. Look at what he is doing in 2003 at the age or 40!
