Best live version of this song. Unbelievable. Ian’s voice has gotten better with age for sure. He has developed a nice rasp at the top end. That Suhr sounds fantastic, what a tone.
I agree. Ian's voice has matured so much over the last 25 years. Probably in my top five vocalists of all time, my top five favorite guitar players of all time. Both his voice and guitar tone compliment each other very well, and they compliment his playing style.

One might see it as mostly 8/8 with a few bars of 7/8 around the 1:50 mark. It is played a little differently than usual so it sounds kind of like 7/8+1/8 on the regular verses though.

Yeah it's 4/4 all the way. A couple bars of 7/8 in the verse but it keeps coming back to 4/4. The weird accents make the drum beat seem like a different time signature.

May not seem like it but that drum line is incredibly difficult to play without fucking up.
I would like to think the people smart enough to love Big Wreck, know how well constructed and intricate (although seemingly easy and effortless from the unbelievably talented members) their music really is. Great band and great songwriters!

Alex Scott, I'm a guitarist, so I have good rythym. Only real difficulty now is the one part near the middle where they switch the base of the tempo (sorry for my English) it's always 4 , but then it goes 4-3-4-3 this one time in the second part of the second verse
