The Most Entitled 12 Year Old Ever (Police Bodycam)

  • The police officer explicitly mentioned in the incident report that "I NOTICED SHE WAS UNUSUALLY LARGE FOR A 12 YEARS OLD. SHE WAS THE SIZE OF AN ADULT." So we understand if you have a hard time believing she's 12 but she actually is.
On April 7th, 2022, an officer responded to a runaway report. Upon contacting the parents of the female, the officer learned that she had left home to go to her friend’s house but departed without informing them of her whereabouts. Later, they were able to locate her, but she was very uncooperative. Shortly after, they were able to locate the daughter, who was behaving very aggressively. The situation continued to escalate because the daughter wasn’t eager to understand the situation and remain calm. The female continued yelling and behaving in an agitated manner. The female was showing no signs of calming down and continued to disobey the officers. Because of her attitude, the officers had no choice but to put her in shackles. Even after being shackled, the female didn’t stop abusing the officers. Shortly after, the officers decided to wrap her up in restraints. She was soon transported to jail for further processing. The female was charged with battery upon a peace officer, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest

At 12 she shouldn't even have a boyfriend or if she does it shouldn't be anymore than "puppy love" with dates to the movies, quite possibly with one set of parents sitting in a different part of the theater, not going drinking at grown men's trailers while they lie to the parents about their daughters even being there.

oh yeah. like she said, no one ever listens to the kids only the adults. I felt that and im 30 it was that way as a kid. And clearly its that way for her now. yelling and being aggressive is the only way to get adults to listen to her now. I did all sorts of hurtful things in a desperate attempt just to get someone to listen to me.
shes very hateful, But I do feel her struggles and emotions.
its stupid, but I wish I could tell her I listen and understand that feeling of despair and loneliness when no one will listen.
Just having that validated and being listen to, can someone undo the disrespectful attitude. it wont go away until the issue that cuase it is fixed.
it started because her mom called her uselsess, so she left. Likely said, ok if im uselss then Il;l; go then. feeling hated.

    • @kytruth1027

Did you hear the girl say she's already been in the hospitals? Sounds like mother's already tried everything possible and jail is the last option. Unless you know a child like this it's impossible to comprehend what these parents go through. I know one and the mother is a damn good mom( and has had zero issues with her other kids), influences at school ruined her daughter and she has begged for help and has sent her to multiple in patient facilities. She assaulted the SRO, the principal and 3 others at school..Mom begged for them to arrest her because there's literally NOTHING she can do with the kid and they wouldn't. The system coddles this behavior, pats these kids on the butt, hands them a cookie and sends them on their way saying "it's just typical teenage behavior".
When you have a child like this that threatens suicide and even attempts everytime they don't get their way, what are they supposed to do? Hands are literally tied and NO ONE is willing to help these parents.

It really is insane how we talk about how fucked people say this generation is without ever discussing the root cause. 💯 Parental failure. Not communicating with your children & allowing your children to communicate with you in healthy ways with respectful dialogue, not telling your kids NO or not sticking to it, allowing your kids to manipulate you emotionally so they can worm their way out of taking responsibility, not calling your kids out for their inappropriate behavior, not ever imposing consequences, never allowing them space to safely own up & apologize, zero guidance on healthy ways to cope with discomfort and disappointment, not prioritizing humility, integrity and how to protect their own dignity, no guidance personal responsibility and accountability, and not allowing your kids to see you as a human being with feelings. For this to be successful, all of this must start as soon as your child begins communicating, coming out of infancy to toddlerhood. The way it’s ingrained is with age appropriate language and in age appropriate increments. And it be should be a consistent and continued priority as you parent, well into adulthood. Disrespect and entitlement at any age is never appropriate or justifiable. This didn’t just happen overnight, it’s been building on this path of destruction for generations. Adults are less willing to take responsibility for their behavior, always looking for a reason or person outside of themselves to blame for their miserable lives, of course this was going to happen with this nations children.

I don't care that they're cops/officers because they're not special. I'd have a problem with my child speaking to and in front of any elders. I don't care if the elder was a janitor, a homeless person, or the president she'd better show them the utmost respect. Children have no business squaring up any adult and vice versa, that what their parents are for. These days, the parents act worse than than the kids, and if that's the case, you get the cops involved.

It seems like there’s so many instances where the officers struggle with getting a resisting suspect into the cruiser that the partition is more a hindrance than anything else. Because if it wasn’t there they could have an officer pull the suspect into the backseat from the other side of the car. Which I’ve seen in some body cam videos where that partition isn’t there.

Most people in these cases deserve empathy still and I think as the US develops more we need to have more things in our society to truly help not only victims of past but a lot of times during the abuse or whatever it is. They are gaslit and lied to a lot into staying with the person they are with. I just think as a society we need to be more empathically smarter then most people are but I will say there are people who are unfortunately incapable to empathy (which is a human trait every human is supposed to have it but it's a matter of showing it and being able to).

Got his first diagnosis and meds at 4.5. OT at 5, tons of meds, and 4 years later, he's still kicking the crap out of me and threatening to unalive me as a way to manipulate me into stopping a demand (like asking him to clean his room) He's had every advantage, an involved supportive mom who doesn't lay hands on him, therapies, meds, IEP at school...still violent. We keep trying.

@@KatieBearGrrr In your situation, you've clearly done everything to seek professional support once the behavioural problems started. My only question is how well healthy boundaries were enforced and behaviour taught before the age of 3, not only by yourself but also anyone else involved in your son's life? Somewhere he learnt that violence was an effective method to get his own way whereas majority of toddlers/young children know not to even attempt violence towards their parents because it won't go down well for them. My own parents didn't hit me as punishment but I knew if I ever dared hit them then they would have retaliated. For the example of cleaning his room, many kids may ignore a request to clean and have to be bribed with a treat to do it but they respect their parent enough to not physically assault them.

If the parents taught the children Respect and; Morales they wouldn't have to save up for bail money plus; the shame the children bring upon them.. Simple Concept.... 😮😮😮😢😢😢

Imagine blaming the system because you as the parent failed your child!! 🙄

she did not fail her child💀 i’ve been in a VERY similar situation to this and i tried blaming my parents but realized it was because they cared. it was mentioned that she has mood disorders and that can be very hard to parent. her mom clearly was doing everything she could to get her help it’s just that these places do not help. her mom is obviously at a complete loss on what to do, it’s obvious she cares and i don’t think she failed her, i just think when you have disorders like that it’s very very hard to parent because no matter what your kids gonna blame you for making them worse. the same thing happened to me i hated my parents for the longest time after they called the cops on me for hitting them and sent me to the mental hospital but then i put myself in their shoes and realized that there was literally NOTHING else they could do.

The mom is doing the right thing. It's called love and I can tell you that her mother is crying to see her baby doing this and she may feel like she has failed her kid. So don't blame the mother, blame the kid.

@sidneypoole I too was in that situation and when I begged for help after hospitals, mental health care. 2 suicides and 3 times being detained I begged cps for help. I called them many times and was told he hasn't tried to kill himself or anyone else enough times. Hasn't been arrested enough times and hasn't too many times?? That's batshit insane. I even went the lengths of getting a big brother. . I finally opened a voulentary case on myself to get help after a 3rd suicide attempt . Long story short. They finally helped me when I opened a voluntary case. After it took 8 yrs of advocating for my kid to get some form of special help. . He is now 20. And with the help he got and therapies we got together. My baby is back to being a my sweet kiddo.some ppl don't understand circumstances to every childs mental health issues. Now if he needs to talk, we discuss things. If he's upset, he tells me. He has respect, boundaries and understands you can't act crazy to get your way. To all those3 saying it's the parent. I was a single parent. Didn't do drugs or drink and did everything I could to help my son. That meant having to work excessive amounts of hours because my husband was no longer in the equation as he passed away. I didnt choose to be a single parent. It was the hand i was dealt. And I wanst looking for a man to fill his shoes just to give him a dad. Many of us go through hell and so many ppl say it's the parents fault. That mother may not be a good one. But every avenue she's explained to the police I also took l!!! Above and beyond. So unless you understand , plz be kind. Not all of us are pos parents as your saying.

As a teacher and a mom, this is truly horrific. She absolutely qualifies for a RTC and beds available - mom needs to make this call as nothing will improve for her with zero consequences.

The waits are long and that is a part of the problem. Mental
Health for youth is stretched very thin. It’s the same in Canada. Long waits. Lack of services.

Did you listen to the struggle the mom had been going thru trying to get her into an RTC. 26:11 She'll qualify for an RTC but the wait is 7-8 weeks so the facility releases to the child to home until a need opens up & then in that time the child is deemed not acute enough for an RTC bc she's back at home. It's a broken cycle bc of all the red tape. I feel for the mom completely 😮‍💨

And this adds to the problem, people thinking it's an easily navigated system with ample space... it almost NEVER is. I cannot count how many people I have known who have died on a wait list for either mental health or rehab.
Nothing but fractured systems for fractured people...

Managed a Residential Treatment Center (RTC). This girl definitely needs help. Experienced a lot of similar youths. Most did well. Mind you, I was in the system in the 80’s and 90’s. Private insurance quit paying for such treatment. Most RTC’s closed; thus the reason for long waits.
