I’ve been getting more and more interested in these little sims 4 experiments lately, so I figured I’d indulge myself today! I think we will probably do more experiments like these in the future.

It's annoying that EA put in that line about "the forces of evil don't have time for romance." It's the evil part that's pointless. The Grim Reaper isn't evil, they are literally meant to help the soul move on to the next plane. How is that evil? lmao just annoying. But this was entertaining though lol
Depending on the viewpoint, the Grim Reaper is even kind. He/It makes sure you don't enter the afterlife alone and makes sure you get where you're going.
And Life absolutely adores him. She's constantly sending him gifts that he keeps forever. 😁
Yeah, and I also heard somewhere that he offers discounts when you’re trying to save a child’s life, how is that evil? (assuming it’s real)
EA kind of sucks. I have sensory issues and the high maintenance trait just makes fun of that I can't even use it

Love how morbid the "He dislikes the colour blue? Oh well, there's no trace of blue in this house, so..." part is, considering your Sim just destroyed the only blue thing in the house by killing off her sister with the blue dress 😄

This video made me miss the Grim Reaper from Sims 3. One of my sims befriended him in their childhood, and Grim showed up to his college graduation. Since he wasn't there because someone died, he didn't show up in his robes and with his scythe, and I got to see his face. He had jet black skin, with a mile high black pompadour that had purple highlights, and was wearing Hugh Hefner style pajamas.

In The Sims 2 there was an old woman in strangetown who did woohoo with grim reaper and had a baby from them. It was actually written in her memories.
Isn't that the lady who lives in the graveyard thing? Or am I mistaken?
@@chinita2463 Yes, Olive Specter. But I think even in the Sims 2 it isn‘t possible and the Sims team cheated this in for her backstory.
@@sophie9984 yeah, nervous is a genetic clone of the grim reaper, not actually olive's biological child. odd that they made it a story line when its not possible to romance grim (and trying to will corrupt your game)

I did this challenge with Wickwhims-i have a whole town full of Reaper children...their eyes go really weird down the generations lol
I want to try to turn guidry and temperance back into humans and see what happens with whicked whims with those 2.

Just decided to play new storyline with Extreme violence. Serial killer who keeps murdering people bcs she's in love with the Reaper.

Imagine she kills her sister by accident in a fit of rage and when the grim reaper appears she’s in a trance love at first sight so she sets sights on making him hers but realises the only way for him to appear is death so she starts offing half the town just for them to get together 😂
My Grim reaper loves my child... literally sounds disturbing it is! My child dad died and he stick around for days to take care of my toddler xD later on mother died and he stickt around 2 days for my kid becoming best friend, then grandma died and he started flirting interaction of his own with my teen sim! (enable teen with MCC) But still !!... I was like 'Ohyeah true love... ' now that she adult, she never can have him... sad ending, and I wasn't even trying to make sad story.
Wasn't this possible in the beginning? Then, EA removed the option for some strange reason... Kinda sad as you could have Grim Juniors running around in the other Sims' games (excluding Sims 1) if I recall correctly.

You actually can try for a baby with him by removing the IsGrimReaper trait and then those options are unlocked. If you want his smoky effect and deep voice back, you can re-enable the trait via cheats.
My Sims' favourite colours and hobbies change with every playthrough; once, my Grim Reaper disliked the colour black. Poor guy. The irony wasn't lost on him.
The mod by Gauntlet101010 unlocks Reaper interactions. I think it affects other NPCs as well, but not sure which others.

You can using cheats to remove the grim reaper trait, which will unlock the hidden options, and then add it back on for his exclusive effects back.

There is a reaper mod that you can become a death angle or something, you can collect souls and give to the Grim Reaper.

hold the shift key and click the grim reaper, select "add to household" you can interact like a normal sim but he still acts like the grim reaper, tings get a bit weird in cas though

Also have u ever tried to have a baby with Night Wraith?He’s a ghost that was a spellcaster in life till he died from overloading and is now a ghost that haunts spellcasters as a curse I believe u can interact with him

I did this myself about a month ago, similar to you I killed the sim I lived with and then had to add another. I killed Summer Holiday and they ended up sending a different grim reaper than the first. I ended up flirty with both, but I wonder just many there are out there.

I have used the mod by Gauntlet101010 a few times myself. I find that Karla makes great videos, entertaining and fun to watch. She is also a great storyteller and just enjoy listening to her.

U can u just have to take away his reaper powers so he’s not really gonna be the reaper anymore unless u give his powers back idk if this cheat still works or not I’ve heard rumors EA might have disabled it but u have to use traits.remove_trait GrimReaper after typing in testing cheats true

you can if you remove his grim reaper trait, but then he won't be quite grim reaper again. i once tried and he's not flying anymore if i'm not mistaken
Remove trait, woohoo, re-add trait. Don't kick Grimmie out too quick though... He's a marvelous house guest. Clean, loves to dance, and very humorous.
But a child with the wishing well isn‘t a problem.
you have to do 'traits.remove_traitisGrimReaper' in the cheats bar. or a variation of that like 'traits.removetrait_GrimReaper' i forgot the origional 😅

I tried this as well. Can't even go on a date with him once you start the event and go to chat or whatever it closes out the date because he can't kiss and etc so I just ended up collecting reapers and making them a household🤷
You just have to turn off the grim part of him then you can woohoo
If you do want to have a baby with grim without mods, with the new science baby update if you add grim to your household he can have a science baby with your sim. It can’t happen the other way round though

I **think** you have to remove the trait that makes him the reaper.
You have to turn on testingcheats true and shift click the Grimm reaper and add him to your household then you can woohoo him
At first you could but I think they removed it now for some reason
One of my favorite cheats in the game is the "traits.remove_trait isGrimReaper" one because that opens SO many storytelling routes and whatnot.
U can't without cheats but u can with cheats. I added the Grimm reaper to my family and did this cheat when I was then able to have the first kiss and all the other things

I remember my sim making a baby with the grim reaper. It’s been years since I tried but it used to be possible
My sim is currently pregnant with a son by the grim reaper😂
So I just tested this and the only way I was able to do it was playing with the genes thing through cas. I checked if I could still mary and have a baby with Patchy too and it still works. LOL I tried the one where people said remove the grim reaper trait and for me the cheat doesn't work.
(I had to ADD Grim To Family First. and make it so they were married through CAS. Same with Patchy)

I captured some prisoners and some of them died but then I discovered you could add the grim reaper to your family but then he can’t be the grim reaper so it makes another grim reaper for dead people so I got like 3 grim reapers and locked them in a dark room

You cannot build up a romantic relationship either with the grim reaper (at least it didn't work for me) it said that he's not interested in that stuff, however if you use cheats you can do that. YOu don't even need a mod for kissing and having a baby with the sim reaper, you can just do that with a cheat, you will see that the cheat worked because the smoke will disappear to and he will have hunger, sleep etc. as well
I was able to have a baby with him. With and without mods. Forgot how though because I don't have the game anymore.
The reason you can’t woohoo with grim is because in preferences there’s 1. Can get others pregnant 2. Can become pregnant 3. Neither he I see neither
They deleted the option to woo him.
Their is a way to have a baby with him I forgot thou lol but it might be a mod or something I saw some youtbers do it in the mystical baby challange .
i think you needed to make her evil or something so maybe she wouldn't care so much about the actual deaths

I wonder if there's a way to assign one of those costumes as sleepwear? Because then the Sim would change into it before woohooing. Better yet, assign it as all their outfits so they're always in character.

Bonehilda herself can get pregnant, but you have to wait until the baby becomes a toddler before you can kidnap it from the Other Side.
This is why Sims 2 is the best lol.
my Sim cheated on her husband with another guy. I was bored so I let her spouse evidence this. As a result, he had a heart attack and died successfully. Sheesh. Still, I was bored and decided to make some love with Grim Reaper🤣🤡 3 times in a row and there wasn't any pregnancy cause he had cond#ms. That was wicked whims though. That's my story
