- Ever wondered how far you can push the genealogy tree? Well I think I may have discovered exactly that today!
In this video I will be creating the most inbred family possible in The Sims 4. I started off with a gameplan, but things did not go to plan…I actually think it ended up being for the better though!
We start off with a group of sims, some being siblings and then we start building the family. I did not use any mods for this video in terms of allowing the inbreeding, the result of this is purely the limits of the game.

In my legacy save I accidentally had two half-siblings have children with each other and marry each other…I found out they were half siblings when looking at their family tree for people to invite to their wedding and saw they shared a father. 😑

one time, i had a sim marry Geoffrey landgraab, lock nancy in a torturetower, get pregnant with geoffreys kids, kill geoffrey, and while still pregnant with geoffreys kids, marry malcom, give birth and get pregnant with malcom. the family tree was very confused. also the sim was purple

In my game, Marcus married Lilith courtesy of me, and MCCC matched up Judith with some random townie I didn't make. But I don't really care about her, so whatevs. But by far the weirdest thing MCCC did was move a family with a horse into one of the San Myshuno apartments. Like WTF no one told me MCCC would do that!

While doing my 100 baby challenge, I discovered a sim can have a baby with their great grandchildren. Apparently after the grandchildren the sims doesn’t recognize familial relationships. That’s so disturbing 🤢

Did you do it? If so what did the family tree look like
I tested this recently and the only relationships you can’t have children with are: parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles and first cousins. A great grandparent or great grandchild is 12% related to you just like a first cousin, but the game only disallows having kids with a first cousin. Dating every other relationship with less than 12% shared dna is allowed in the sims.
sims also have the romance option for their direct cousins and uncles too 😭
It's so refreshing to find Simmers who are willing to go wild with their Sims!

@@superduper3863 nah, it was several generations ago, plus there was like five or six generations in between the split and reunion. I doubt they even knew they were related back then. By now it's just a fun fact rather than something to be ashamed of, and I refuse to be ashamed of my lineage.

Its probably only legal because the royals wanted to "keep it in the family". Don't think it'd be well received today though

Sims 4 really does like to mess up when it comes to babies. I once got twins but after reloading, one was white, the other black. But I had no dark skinned sims on that lot.
they never fixed this glitch since they released the base game and it's so annoying aaarrgg
The genetics make no sense. I had my brunette sim have two kids with a ginger sim, and the kids came out ginger. But when he had a kid with a sim with brown skin and black hair, the child came out white with brown hair like him.

OK, I had two female sims dating, then one of them woohoo'd the others father and they got pregnant and married lol. To get revenge, the jilted sim had it with the cheaters father and they got pregnant. Poor kids lol I can hear the banjos

I accidentally did this three times in my legacy family. The first time was with cousins Argent and Luna, because they had different surnames and I forgot Luna was mine. The second time was another set of cousins, it was Luna's younger brother, Anthony with Celeste, who was Argent's adopted niece. The third time was with my sims widower vampire husband and her niece.
I stared at the screen for 30 minutes straight. My sister walked in and was highly concerned. Of course she laughed at me when she found out because we have a great sistership. I now write down, and consult the family tree.😭

months ago I wanted to play sims, but I got stuck with just sims mobile. That game is so repetitive and boring you quickly, and I mean quickly, lose track of who’s who. If it weren’t for the game’s internal programming, I definitely would have made a few criminal mistakes in the bloodline many times over. Anyway, it was an awful game so I deleted it and now I’m safe lol

It’s legal to marry our first cousins where I’m from but I find it super weird especially since I’ve grew up with all my cousins. We see each other as siblings actually so it won’t happen

you could have kept Hank by exiting out of cas without saving then editing his family by going to MCC , Sim commands, and then click modify in cas. It allows you to edit one sim at a time.

Shortcut. You just have to delete the baby. Then youll encounter them as toddler when you go places. I have accidentally deleted mine and met my child while working as a doctor. I simply add her back to my family.

It's allowed in most countries. Alabama is actually one of the 24 states in the U.S. that have banned the first cousin marriage without exceptions.
It may be legal but the stigma is enough to discourage most people. Everyone on my parents' street changed window washers when the original one married his cousin. He was a decent fella as he understand it, but nobody wanted to be near him after that - the family had to leave town pretty soon afterwards.

I did the Habsburg family a while back. Made the 1st, 2nd, 3rd generations look according to their portraits and added in the extra members like Christian II of Denmark, Francis I Duke of Lorraine, and Renata of Lorraine, etc. I couldn't be bothered to do all the relationship building so I use used MCCC to woohoo them (plus the uncle-niece thing wouldn't happen naturally and I really didn't want to watch all that LOL) all the way down to Charles II. Took a bit of time, but it was fun. Had to kill off the older gens as I went since it got way overcrowded but had to keep track of who not to kill off because they were needed for babies. Ol' Chuck didn't look too bad at the end. lol

My Not So Berry Challenge is incestuous mess. My first generation heir married a woman who already had two kids with Kyoshi Ito, and then my heir and her wife had my next gen. Next gen then marries a man who was Kyoshi’s other son and her half siblings’ half brother, and I had no idea because they didn’t share a last name. Anyway. Kyoshi has an ass ton of kids and now I’m on gen 5 and Berry’s keep ending up with Ito descendants. It’s the most tangled family tree…

Before I had mods there was a time I accidentally had siblings get together. But it was because I had broken their family connections with the gallery so somehow they weren't related anymore and they started romancing each other when I was playing another family. In the end I let them stay together, but they adopted 😂

The wicked wins mod allows you to do all the insect I know this because I have a save where every child born has a child with their parent, grandparents, siblings, aunts/uncles and cousins of the opposite gender I had to stop playing that save because things got so complex I couldn’t take the mind pain anymore imagine having your dad also be your grandpa and your brother and your cousin somehow yijessssss

I mean, I downloaded the MC Command Center + Wicked Whims incest choice BECAUSE there are families in my Sims world who are indeed inbred. (Mostly early royal blood, via the Happensburgs, my Sims version of the Hapsburgs).

4:56 in America it depends on the state, in some states it illegal for cousins to get married and some states it's legal and some state it's only legal with certain requirements like not having children
some states don't allow marriage but do allow sexual relations or cohabitation
