    first. It's interesting how the motors spin up to maintain the same height. It's not designed for any payload.

      It tries to. This drone tries to maintain the same position even with external forces like wind.

    Wrong. I fly baits out way over a pound when drone fishing and taking baits out passed 800 feet. Consistently.

      Max about 1 lb. So 8oz beer with a bigger container will work.

    I think I pull roughly 180g or was it 240. Mounted a flashlight for night exploration. It half the flying time.

      If it overheats, I really have no idea what it'll do. I might force land and I cannot control it if it does.

    The scales were the best idea with the worst execution, it will actually lift 1 kilo.
