@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Uncle, what do you usually like about guns? I like guns. It's natural for men to like guns! Lately I've been obsessed with drone retrofit delivery devices
Yes I tried dropping a mini bottle of water to my Son as he was hiking and it was over 2KM it worked great. The only problem I faced was that the weight of the water bottle made the battery charge drop much faster I almost couldn't make it back to the home point. As the aircraft landed at home point I only had 8% battery
Thanks for the compliments, actually this will not fit on Mac Mini and for that they have a different kind which comes with a remote control to press for release. I am not too impressed with the one for Mac Mini because your release distance is limited to the range of the mini remote control, not the range of the actual DJI remote. I couldn't find it anywhere in the US but they have them for sale on eBay by sellers from China, here is the link for it www.ebay.com/itm/164465126460
Because there are multiple steps, first the LED light has to turn ON, then the light sensor has to get activated and send the signal to the controller which will then activate the motor. So the entire process takes about 0.5 seconds
With a 31 minute battery - the only thing that people will be delivering is probably some gimmicky gifts to their neighbours and back! Totally useless, to be honest.
I agree the battery life is not very long, but honestly there are millions f applications that makes this extremely useful for example. 1. Delivering life saving medication, such as heart attack, diabetic attack, snake bite etc. 2. Delivering rescue tube to a drowning victim 3. Delivering water or food to a stranded hiker 4. Delivering Medication or any package to a large ship that can't dock at the shores 5. Dropping the fishing hook as far as possible into the ocean for much deep sea fishing while you are standing on a pier. 6. Dropping Band Aid or any other first Aid kit to an injured hiker, climber, worker etc.
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 I suppose you do have a point, especially during COVID-19 when social distancing is so important. Your video was very thorough and detailed too. Good review.
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 All valid points, but for all this you need much bigger/stronger drone. Mavic 2 platform could lift about 700-800g max (this is where fpv drones are actually much stronger, but their battery life is very bad) , to let say fly with a cargo, probably half of that, 200-300g max probably. It could deliver some small package etc, but it would be most efficient in let say situations, where you would use drone as interface to injured person, for rescue missions, fires etc. That's where dji release mavic 2 enterprise plus version jus day ago, where you get powerful ir camera, you could attach speaker, reflector etc to the drone.
@@izoyt Good point, however this could be a great solution to emergency medication delivery to a heat attack victim, or diabetes victim. Or water delivery to a stranded person on a raft, or hiking trial.
Very good video again , thank you
Thanks again!
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Uncle, have you modified the delivery device of the drone? ,
@@user-in8bz3kd7d Hi, I did not modify it.
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Uncle, I look forward to your new work. Are thermal imaging sights expensive in your country?

Can you drop a water ballon with this?
Only if the total weight of the water is less than 8oz, If you load 16oz it will not take off, and at 12oz the battery will run out in less than 10min
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 I’ll take that into consideration, Thx!

Why is there such a delay? Any way to get rid of that?
