Edward Everett Horton (the narrator) was a fairly well known actor in Hollywood throughout the 1920s and 30s, having started out on stage in 1909. Appeared in several films with Fred Astaire and ginger Rogers, as well as starring in a lot of comedies. He was born in 1886, and passed away in 1970. Talented guy, and a fine voice actor as well as a literal star of stage and screen.
He wasn't just "fairly well known"--he was a prolific actor on stage and screen, with an instantly recognizable voice. When I was a kid and used to watch the old 1960's Batman series, he portrayed Chief Screaming Chicken, but he was quite well known in many roles before that, usually playing a mousey sort of back-up role.
Thank you! All of us who recognized that stately, unique boys wondered.. and some of us are old enough to wonder if he wasn't that guy who... so thanks again!
@@jessfrankel5212 Sorry, but I never heard of "Chief Screaming Chicken" on Batman, but there was a "Chief Roaring Chicken", on "F Troop",who May have done one of those "Window Cameos", on "Batman". HIS Famous saying was, "Me OLDEST Member, My Tribe !"
the voice of the mother sounds like Ma kettle.haven't seen these in least 35 years.A lot of my friends didn't "get"the Bullwinkle cartoon. The voices always made me laugh my ass off.
Voice of the mother is June Foray.Shei s the female Mel Blanc. She is also the voice of Rocky the squirrel and Witch hazel ,amogst others in Looney Tunes cartoons, She`s absolutly awesome and a true vocal legend!!!
I was so lost at the end of this video by the closing joke that I took to the internet to figure it out. “Tinker, Tailor” is a counting rhyme for children. Meanwhile, “Cobbler, Cobbler” is another children’s rhyme for tying one’s shoes.
Somehow, I missed this in my "Yoot". (For the Nitpickers, that's Youth !) SO, my own ending version, I would have guessed, HE became a toymaker, and started by calling them, "Tinker Toys"! (Unfortunately, many of today's children, don't know what THEY are, so would probably say, "WTF?") I Think they were pulled from the market, because of "dimmies" choking on the pieces!
@@itzzakanksha only issue is the was no 's' in i tink. Besides that huntsman should be busted an sent up the river for murdering the poor tinker. What senes of humour laughs at other peoples misfortunes?
"The poor lad was stoned." Oh, SO many drug jokes just sitting up and begging to be voiced! Silver hammer? Is the young tinker's name Maxwell, by any chance?

I love the Peter Lorre and Jerry Lewis voice impressions
"That's no goat, that's my daughter". Classic.
I love the voice actors in these.
The king is voiced by the original actor who played Cap t Crunch in the Cap t Crunch ARs
Still great after 40 years.
One of my favorites that I remembered from my childhood. The ending was what made me laugh the most.

Black Kettle was played by Marjorie Main. The Voice you heard was June Foray.
The King sounded like Captain Crunch
The Fractured Fairy Tale cartoons had the best trolls & ogres ever.
Loved watching these fractures many years ago and am so glad they are back, bad pins and all. Thanks, Joe S
I remember this stuff first run. It gets better with age. OK, fine, I’m just beginning to understand it.
"I also found the kah-nock-wurst you had hidden under the mattress."
There's one for the adults. Never would have got that when I was a kid!
Or…he who would eat his parents out of house and home may very well end up in the cooking pot himself!
Troll:(tuning): MI, MI, MI!

I tink... I tink... therefore I am.
These voices are hilarious and the troll sounds like he has bad breath.😝😝😁😁

that is one of the worst stories in the fractured fairy tale franchise. the poor tinker, shot to death by a huntsman.
Little Tinker is also a 1940s MGM cartoon about a little skunk who dresses like young Frankie SInatra.
Oh rocky and bullwinkle, my folks, my brother and I used to watch this all the time. Great show and side shows.
"I TINK!!"
How could i tink sound offensive to the people?
@@tsitracommunications2884 they thought he's saying- I stink!
