Edward Everett Horton (March 18, 1886 - September 29, 1970) priceless voice is what made this fun cartoon series stand out! I love hearing him speak! I'm watching one of the films that feature him "Here Comes Mr Jordan." What an amazingly talented man he was!

Leaping Beauty voiced by June Foray (born June Lucille Forer) September 18, 1917 - July 26, 2017). She should be a very familiar voice cartoon addicts of that golden era of 'toons. She voiced, Rocky, Natasha and many, many, many other Jay Ward characters.

So all i can figure is that i must’ve been in a really great time of my kid life when i used to watch Fractured Fairytales bc just simply *hearing* the intro music gives me those “Saturday AM little kid glued to the tv - all is swell & right with the world warm fuzzies!” lol i’m realizing now that there is
_NO WAY_ that i understood most of the jokes/sarcasm but still definitely *ADORED* this cartoon! Also pretty happy that i can’t recall any of the scenarios bc it’s like having a brand new show yet somehow i already knew that i *LOVED* it! Soo witty! Edward Everett Horton was imo absolutely brilliant! 🤣 💞

Heh, the witch in this kind of reminds me of in Rankin-Bass's "Tales of the Wizard of Oz," in that she's a comical witch that's completely colored green and voiced by a man. (But in the case of "Oz," Larry Mann voiced the Wicked Witch doing an imitation of Jonathan Winters as Maude Frickert, while here Bill Scott uses that same "old lady" voice he'd use when voicing witches and fairy godmothers in Fractured Fairy Tales where June Foray voices a protagonist (like this one), or Grandma Gertie in the "Tom Slick" segments.)

Edward Everett Horton was born in 1886, imagine living long enough to do a cartoon in 1961, amazing.. He was even in Silent films in 1922. He was an old gay nellie, never married, and seemed to keep that Brooklyn accent. Listen closely resembles the accent of Moe Howard / George Burns and other New York city actors. He lived to be 83. Remember him in F-Troop too.

But don't know whether the modern education will allow this cartoon be shown to the children at all, as they are being taught that narcissism is a great thing. But in this cartoon, we see that narcissism is boring to the others, and in real life, excessive narcissism is indeed boring!
