Travelodge offers an unlimited breakfast deal £5.50. I think you can get Travelodge rooms in London (Mile End/Algate) for £50-60, saving time on travel. If you ever get cake and coffee and want it a little cheaper from a Greggs. You got a lot done in one day though! After the Uber boat I would have been good!

He stayed in Travel Lodge, that’s one of the UK’s cheapest budget hotels!
When you travel with USD, you will sort of count your costs in USD even if that’s not the country’s currency. He has $100 for the day so he can’t be telling us the costs in Pounds.

Loved this video! I visited London last month for the first time and I stayed at my friend's place. Very expensive city for sure, but lovely when the weather is good.
London is definitely expensive compared to other cities in the UK but if you know where to shop and all that you can get by on a modest wage. I’ve lived in London for over 20 years and I’ve been alright.

London has so many things to do for free. Most msueums are free and sightseeing is free. Eat at Wetherspoons for cheap foods that are good.

Nice video - doing 2 fairly pricey touristy activities really ups the price [boat and cable car] but you cant NOT do those sorts of things if you want to get the most out of a trip.
There are better options than food markets though - they are normally overpriced for what you get, but you will get good quality stuff. Gregg's all the way for cheap breakfast

Agreed. I live in London and on a day when I’m not going out for drinks after work, i can spend only £18; £10 for lunch, £8 travel. If i go out after work then yes £150 is possible

Big museums are free, parks are obviously free, if you use busses and tube a lot in a day the top price maxes out to about £15.
They recently capped the bus fare to £2 nationwide. You came at the right time. It used to be more than that.
