This is the first walkthrough of this game I've seen on this difficulty level where the health stays at 50.
That was added for the 2021 remaster update. They changed Nightmare difficulty to be identical to Hard except you can’t heal past 50 health.
Even though the new models look great, I personally prefer the look of the older models. There's something charming about their older look. Anyways great video

Bought my first PC AMD 120, after Commodore, late evening. '96 I believe... All software installed. Headphones. Quake, Duke and Unreal. I was literally shaking for days how it was overflooding my brain with whole experience. I've played maybe 3-4hrs and it was intoxicating.

I remember typing IDDQD or IDKFK and the game killed me, or reset or something. OG Quake was so unique. Loved the sound.

True. I'm currently playing the 2021 version with full raytracing and my mind is being blown again. RT really shows it's strength in this game. The graphics feels like an old school CGI lol. Lightning really makes 90% of realism.

At 1:32:52 (Wind Tunnels), how do you stop the draft from shooting you into the next tube, rather than land in the roof area where the quad damage is? I've studied this video in slo-mo but there's no indication of how it's done, I've tried using the motion controls and this doesn't slow the speed or change direction. I'm playing on Quakespasm 93.2.

It is the year 2006. Ever since 1999 I have felt myself be stronger than ever. Ever since I saw on the news in 2000 about a dr light and wily starting up their company together to make robots, I have worked with them and also studied their work. It is beautiful, with many blueprints and ideas that could help out with my experiments and may come in handy for many years to come. They have also been working with the military and the UAC, by giving them Light Armor and Wily Weaponry. I should use this in the experiment.
It is the year 2008 of March the 17th. The quake experiment is going exactly to plan. And with the light tech armor and wily tech weapons, the test should go well.
Note to self: as a reminder, the quake project has the subject go through my areas of ancient one soldiers and genetic weapons. When he disposes of generator codename shub, proceed to step 2.
