The Army itself isn't happy with the government's cowardly stance. What more do you want? Also the Army is stationed in the border for a reason: to protect it. The govt however is worried, because this is an issue that could even topple it. So, it is playing safe at the cost of the nation's sovereignty.

It has long been China's stance that "Put the border disputes aside, let us cooperate on everything else. "
An emerging power like India cannot let its development be kidnapped by border disputes.
Look at Japan and S. Korea. These two East Asia neighbors can sit down for negotiations and cooperations, despite of their long time disputes over the sovereignty of the Liancourt Rocks in the sea between them. That is political wisdom and diplomatic maturity on full display.
Other countries such as China and India can definitely learn from S. Korea and Japan to manage their difference on borders, LAC, or whatever, and develop their relationship for the benefit of the economy and people.
The US doesn't want to see BRICS countries developing fast together. They'd rather see the two neighboring Asian giants fighting, hurting and weakening each other, to maintain their domination in Indo-Pacific for their own geopolitical interests.

Why BJP didn't fortify our borders when they knew China was building military infrastructure on their side? Modi ignored it, What is the excuse for not responding to Chinese incursions and aggression in a likely manner? Also there are frequent ceasefire violations across LoC, Indian soldiers are killed regularly with no response from Indian army. Modi is not dealing with Pak at all! We need a leader with an actual brain, not a compulsive liar.

India depends on China for critical medicines, other raw materials...modi is attacking this dependency with atmanirbharta...if modi cuts off all ties, people will be on streets asking him to step down. Subrahmaniyam Swamy is the proof of Diversity and intellectual Strength inherent in the Hindutuva model of development. He speaks hard truths that needs to be done and should be constantly reminded to every Indian even if government needs to work with pragmatism.
India is not in the condition to fight with China otherwise India will lose its growth and foreign investment momentum. Moreover, if India does with that Chinese ambassador then there are possibility that China can stop sending their goods and India still needs them. Lastly, other countries will comment negatively on this move.

What is your point? That India should let China take Arunachal as well, otherwise we will be defeated? India needs to re-strategise and re-organise the military to become a force to be reckoned with, currently, Modi has no Idea what AI or cyber warfare is and has neglected military modernisation and reinforcements. Military development is a priority and Mo Di is just sending soldiers to the border to die with no backup or clear objective other than to stand there like pawns and die. Like an amateur chess player.

As a Chinese, China's military spending initially is several times that of India's. Considering that almost all of China's military equipment is domestically produced, and China's industrial advantage, China's actual military expenditure is more than ten times that of India's. Does India really think about defeating China? At the same time, it has to consider economic growth. Is this madness?
