Engaging Civil Society through Social Accountability to Improve Access to Medicines Webinar

A dynamic discussion on social accountability, co-organized by the USAID Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) program and MOMENTUM. The webinar highlights lessons from MTaPS and the approaches of other USAID-funded projects, including MOMENTUM, Breakthrough ACTION, and HEARD. The exchange encourages critical thinking about how best to coordinate and optimize ongoing work in the social accountability space to improve RMNCAH service delivery.
In a recently published discussion paper, USAID MTaPS explored approaches to engaging civil society through social accountability to improve access to MNCH medical products. Key lessons emerged that could apply to various other types of programs. The lessons underscore the importance of designing adaptive social accountability interventions that promote learning and sustainably improve interventions.
