Also thanks so much for this video. I’m researching how to do this same thing.

Do you need a registered dstar id in order to access your hotspot? the reason I'm asking is I'm having problems get a dstar id registered

And how do you set up for the echo test? Anyone know?

I really wish the ID-52 could just do this via the radio->iPhone Bluetooth connection! I mean theoretically an iPhone app could do the same thing as the hotspot and just reflect the LTE data connection, right?

Hello, I was just told that the reason I can’t transmitt Dstar on MY ZUMSPOT is because I need Ah Dstar radio but I have
Ah Anytone878 with my Zumspot? Thank you kindly

You will need a D-star capable radio to operate on D-Star. However your anyone should work on DMR I believe. Good luck!

I want an affordable hotspot than can do ALL the modes tethered to a Samsung A32 using a simple DMR ht.
