    thanks for the video, I upgraded from i5 10400 rtx3060, to i7 10700 rtx 4070 msi ventus 2x oc, to install the video card I had to remove the front panel because the length of the video card 242mm is the maximum length that can fit in the zotac magnus one. Thermalright AXP-90 X36 processor cooling system,replaced the fan with Thermalright TY 12015 B 120mm to cool the VRM zone after watching your video. thank you.

    A new model of Magnus one was presented a few weeks ago and will hit the market this year I think. It has a motherboard that supports 13 gen intel processors and GDDR5 - and comes with a RTX 4070 out of the box - I think that config should use the 4070 to it`s full potential. Anyway, great video, I use a Zotac Magnus one just like yours but with the i5 and RTX 3060 - mine is totally stock - a bit noisy but works well, i have 2 m.2 SSD`s and a third 2.5 inch sata 3 SSD, i just wanted a computer without hard drives because i had some stutters when playing games installed on a 2.5 inch Seagate HDD. The SSD solved the stuttering.

    I also love to downgrade the latest PCs into models from two years earlier. This saves a lot of performance, money, but not power and noise. Great hobby!

    Mine is still under warranty, is 1 and a half years since I purchased it, over time maybe I will get some noctua fans for it. Upgrading the GPU and processor... I think because of the motherboard limitations - mentioned by you also, I think I will keep the i5 and RTX 3060 that came from the factory.

    really amazing work you have done in the video and how you explain everything with details I get the same PC from 2 week and I was not sure to make same upgrade with cpu cooler but I was have 2 old NZXT normal Fan so I install it from outside to help the pc to breath and they really doing great work but the wors pain always come for me from the uper Fans, move on I cusomize the side panal to take inside 180 NZXT fan and CPU temp with max 60 or 65 during gaming

      @skytechfreak  Před rokem

      Oh that's awesome! Did you also use a fan splitter for the nzxt fans from outside?

    • @highhopes1
      @highhopes1 Před rokem

      @@skytechfreak that all from the beginning, now everything inside and I made a side panel from old iPad cover and cover the fan with old laptop cooler mash metal wish I can post some pic here to show you what I done, by the way I have the same NZXT case with my other PC and I like what you did on the front panel.

      How did you remove the magnetic contacts for the top 2 fans? I removed the screw, but they seem glued as well?

    Amazing stuff! I put together your build for my Magnus One but for some reason my Package Temperature is coming in at 87* C. Any ideas what might be making the idle temps so high?

    Thanks for the video. I am really interested in how the new fans are performing after some time? I am not going to replace the 3070, but I would love the make the machine more quiet and with better cooling than stock, since they are screaming. Did the new fans eliminate thermal throttling? I do believe they are much quieter than stock, but how did they perform in terms of cooling power / thermal throttling?

    if we use a 8 pin gpu can we use the power supply with another motherboard by combined with the other 16 pin that connected with motherboard? Bcuz I decide to change the case and I wonder if I can use the psu in the new case and motherboard.

    Hi bhai, thanks for your video! I have the same model I bought back in India in 2021. Do you have any idea if we can replace the motherboard with the one somehow? just to upgrade the cpu.

    Hello, I was wondering if you could tell me whether the the 4070 twin edge has coil whine asI read a few reviews reporting it. Also, how loud are the fans under load? Any info would be apprciated. Thanks!

  • @91KevinJohn
    @91KevinJohn Před 8 měsíci

    Think about Fan upgrade for my Magnus one 4070 edition. The loudness is okay for me, the problem is it that the Fanspeed goes up and down every 2 second while office.

    • @skytechfreak
      @skytechfreak  Před 6 měsíci

      Yeah the loud fan noise coupled with the instant fluctuations is very annoying!

    How 500watt psu is supporting rtx4070

    • @skytechfreak
      @skytechfreak  Před rokem +3

      Because it's a platinum rated unit and the 4070 is not a power hungry GPU at all. Even the CPU is not overclockable so all the power draw is very minimal.

  • @TheRisingblade

    Do you think Zotac 4070 Super Twin Edge would fit in? Also would power plugs be compatible or would require a change? I see from the Zotac Twin Edge 4070 Super it comes with a 2 x 8-pin-to-12VHPWR cable.

    • @skytechfreak
      @skytechfreak  Před 6 měsíci

      Wondering the same thing myself as it barely edges the recommended length - should be possible to fit though. Please update me too if you ever find out!

    Hi @SkyTechFreak I have version with 10500 and 3060, but already made those changes some time ago woth Thermaltake on CPU and noctua fans on top (bronze ones). Recently added same Arctic 120mm after your recommendation. Now I thinking of swithing to 4070 (or 4070 super if it will fit) and there are my questions:
    1. Is it worth changning i5 to i7 in that context?
    2. 4070 super is supposed to have 12vhpwr connection and 220w. Will that fit or is there any adapter?

    • @skytechfreak
      @skytechfreak  Před 6 měsíci

      I would definitely switch to an i7, even with a 10th gen i7 I'm losing a lot of performance due to the CPU bottleneck, so I can only imagine that an i5 would be even worse. Also consider the resolution you'd be playing at - lower the resolution, better the CPU needs to be, so I lose out about 8% by having a 10th gen i7 vs running the same GPU with a 5800X3D at 1440p. It would be a worse performance dip at 1080p and more insignificant difference at 4k. Totally depends on your use case, but I would definitely consider the switch upto an i7.

    • @skytechfreak
      @skytechfreak  Před 6 měsíci

      As for the twin edge 4070 super, I think it would fit, but I can't personally verify that - I'm sure someone will try soon enough. As for the 12vhpwr connector - that should be fine as each 4070 super ships with a dual 8pin pcie to 12vhpwr adapter and the zotac magnus one does have dual 8 pin pcie connectors - so you'd be good on that front.

    Look into that

      I wish this was possible, but the board design and power connectors are non standard so it unfortunately won't be possible!

    Hi bro
    I want to ask you how you reach 3000 MHZ with RAM.
    Because my zotac is locked at 2666 MHZ even with 3000 MHZ RAM.

    • @skytechfreak
      @skytechfreak  Před 6 měsíci

      The 10th gen i5 is locked at 2666Mhz, while the i7 can go upto 3000Mhz. You need to upgrade your CPU from the i5 to the i7.

  • @rudrajitsengupta1576
