Hi Steve, Another good video. Thanks for telling me how to properly sharpen my chain. Very few people know how to sharpen knifes, cutters, lawn mower blades...It seems to be a lost art. Sharpening an axe for example. I am sure a lot of men really don't know how. Have you ever heard of a lawn mower blade coming loose on the new Toro Personal Pace mower (new 2023) that has a Briggs & Strattton 190cc vortex engine ? Please send my regards to April. Take care. I learned today how quickly you can dull a sharpener, i would have thought it would have taken more time/usage in doing it incorrectly to do that amount of damage to the cutters. What i also leaned is the perceived quality of the Stihl & Oregon sharpening tools, we just assume a great brand would have some of the best quality however that isn’t always the case. Some like myself always research the consumables online for quality but many just trust in the name, wonder what the response from those 2 companies would be to help explain the visual disparity in their products. Thanks Steve once again, i learned something valuable. Cheers.

The more agressive tooth on the bahco isn't necessarily "sharper" so much as it seems to be a more coarse file in comparison to the stihl and Oregon which seem to have finer teeth. Finer file will usually create a sharper edge. The bahco might be better for profiling a new angle to the chain teeth but I'd still finish with a stihl file.
