- Rear disc brake model, applies to 1988-2000 Civics. For the replacement part I used the Whiteline W63452G bushings. They were a little more expensive than some other poly options but they were dead easy to install with a bearing press kit, which you can rent from your auto parts store. Alternately, you can get them on Amazon for for a reasonable price.

Just bought a 93 del sol looking to restore it to and this bushing is definitely on my list!
Thanks bro 🙌🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for this video, just what I need for replacing my trailing arm bushing.
Good job.
Best thing about those bushings, position. Should I ignore the after market original ones I have and get the set you used. I may just do that.
Thank you for the video.
I can tell you I'm happy with these ones so far, and they were certainly simple enough to install.
Do you know the name/part # for the bearing press kit rented from store?
Did these limit the amount of toe adjustment after during an alignment?
Couldn't tell you, never aligned it. Doesn't get used much, maybe 1 tank of gas in the 6 or 7 months a year that it's out. I never touched the adjustment bolt on the compensator arm so I'm not overly concerned.
How have these bushings held up over the past 2 years?
For me, yes, but I only put about 500 miles per year on this car, sometimes less.
How have those whiteline bushings held up?
So far so good, no complaints from the owner yet
@@416diy how have they held up to this date ?
That was my friend's car, the engine was leaking out of multiple places and the body was rotting pretty bad, it got scrapped last summer. Bushings were still good when it got towed away.
Can you not press em in by hand? Like the psb kit? Psb kit lasted a year then fell apart. Lol
There is no way one can be strong enough to press this into the trailing arm.
Thanks for the reply. I was able to press them in easily just dropping down the arm. I made a tool from a 2x4 on the back side, 6 inch bolt, and bearing plate washer to press it in. $7 total from home depo.
@@danstephens6995 That's impressive, about a hundred and seventy dollar savings.$$!
Oh no I just picked up some Psb bushings lol. How were they before falling apart?
@@danstephens6995hi, just had a quick question about the 2x4 on the backside you mentioned. Is that just 2x4 wood or a steel plate?
