a pirate game made by rockstar would definitely go hard
Especially if you could use a lasso (like the one in RDD2) to pull people off boats or even manipulate the Helm of a boat and cause it to change direction!!!
comeback to c-ops TalkToHand
@@Veranix9476The thing is, pirates don't use lassos
*especially with an online mode with ghost ships that fly, laser cannons and anachronistic weapons and tools, and who could forget the pointless shark cards to siphon the bank accounts of the parents of children who don't know any better? Would totally be great.*
@@Ismail-tp1wnrockstar would do that regardless of what online service they provide though, but with there being literally 0 competition for pirate games for whatever reason, and rockstar being capable of making objectively great game experiences, i don’t really see your point
Nothing emotionally crippled me more this series than the simple shot of the pirates at the end of the game with Bonny singing. The concept of losing friends and "moving on" is so deeply human and intrinsic to life that its no wonder why the scene struck such a cord with pretty much everyone.
Black Flag is the only game I ever played where the ending brings me to tears every single time.
@@strangebrew1746same
I 100% the game 4 separate times and I ALWAYS cry at the ending
@@strangebrew1746must not have played red dead redemption two then.
@@yoshpeters3079 no I never finished it
I’m replaying all the games, and currently I’m on black flag. Holy cow I forgot how good this game is. Some of the most fun gameplay and role playing in the series
Doing the exact same and I’m at the exact same game😭😭
@@lombebwalya1265I played them all before mirage came out but I wanna replay black flag for the ship upgrades nown
Also doing this but not in order. Hope you have an enjoyable time
@@lombebwalya1265 im also doing the exact same thing but playing them all for the first time!! Im about to start black flag
@@Zaleb69enjoy your first experience of an amazing game
Can't believe this masterpiece is 10 years old. My fav assasin creed.
This was the game that got me into ac in the first place
Agreed, but I think it ties for me with Unity. Story is better here, but gameplay in Unity is better. (At least for me)
@@DockOkkSAME
Real. My fav game oat
We need to stop throwing the word masterpiece around like it’s nothing.
It’s genuinely aged like fine wine even in another decade people will still talk about it
Coz this part or series, if assassin creed never exist and just black flag,, people will forget on 3 years 🙈
@@korozomI doubt that
@@korozom definitely not true, if it was a pirate game only and focused more on the pirate aspect it would've probably been much more iconic
I wasn't prepared for that ending 😢
Same, I was almost tearing up, again
Black Flag needs a sequel game more than a remake. Would be great to see Edward's life as an assassin.
his story was over tho. he lived a short life after that. a few years raising his son,and some work as an asssassin, and then died young in his home in london, where jacob and evie frye go to investigate.
They did Edward so dirty by killing him that easy
@@alguiencualquiera6217To be fair, the book came out before the game so the writers couldn't have known that Edward was one of the best Assassin in the Brotherhood's history. I do feel like they need to make a sequel to retcon that, though.
Honestly to this day the ending brings a tear. Following his story and life and all he wanted was to support his family and to be able to do that and realise what he sacrificed for it made me cut some onions
this was the first videogame i ever played, on my dads ps3 in moscow, such memories....
is it cool to have a gamer dad?
@@sunchild_stealthyes, my dad is also a gamer dad and also understands our humor nowadays like: dad left for the milk and other stuff.
Fun Fact: The guy who voiced Edward Kenway in this game went on to play John Constantine on CW's Flash and other DC related shows. And has proven to be a great actor.
Easily one of the best AC games and had an awesome DLC
I had nostalgia for the origins of the Assassins, and I was in Uzbekistan and filmed a Walk like an Assassin in real life. It turned out to😅 be unexpectedly cool Can you take a look?
Played Freedom Cry for the first time a few months ago. Black Flag was an awesome game.
Just got the platinum for black flag few days ago and had a good time again with the game even after my 6th playthrough. Happy 10 year anniversary🎉❤
I would love for the remake to include a DLC in which we discover Edward's memories after the events of BF. Like when he's an actual assassin. They could proposedly make it a 3 part DLC: about his first years as an assassin, the (re)establishment of the order in London with him as master assassin and mentor, and lastly a dlc in which we experience his fatherhood with Haytham and his eventual death.
That'd be a great idea, especially since they can finally retcon his pathetic death from Forsaken.
Thank you for making this video.
Happy Birthday Black Flag. 🎉
My first Assassins Creed game and my introduction to one of my favorite franchises, one of the first games I got with the Xbox One along with Unity, and one of my favorite games in the series.
The Parting Glass song at the end of the credits always gets me in my feelings
This game never fails to make me smile. Happy birthday Black Flag, and thank you.
I have a tradition to always start a new Black Flag save at the start of summer every year. It's my favourite game to play from the AC series when it comes to setting good vibes. The story feels like you are actually taking part in an adventure, the Open World is very immersive with all the different enviroments of the West Indies and the ship mechanics are really fun to mess around with.
One of the best assassin's creed game,i played this when i was a boy and its so good
man i really got goosebumps from the end of this video, your such a good content creator man!
Thank you for making this amazing video..
Thank you for the hommage, time flies
Love your video and 10 years already and black flags is my favorite AC game
Fav in the entire series till date all story line, the environment, the adventures, ship sailing concept and the protagonist just wow missing those days very badly🥺💖
Matt ryan did a phenomenal job for voice actor and yes I enjoyed his constantine as well a great actor.
The new pfp is crazy. I love it!
this was the first game from the ac franchise that i ever played and bought. it shocks me how quick 10 years has gone. it makes me sad, but it makes me happy knowing i played this game at its peak. this game will forever have a place in my heart
This is such a masterpiece and when i explain to my friends about black flag and show them footage of this, they cant believe its this old. Beautiful masterpiece.
man the memories just flooded back and got me tears :(
Man this is the first video I watch since you started Mirage, don't want to spoil something for me :D
The first ac game I actually purchased for myself when it came out as I got 1 and 2 as a gift. Brought brotherhood and revelations preowned and borrowed ac3 from a family friend. So this still holds such a special place in my heart.
This is going to make me cry but be happy that it's 10 years old such a masterpiece ❤️
I've always been a defender of the Desmond segments and I enjoyed his story, but that being said I really enjoyed AC4 and Rogue's modern day story. Getting to see the detailed inner workings of an Abstergo operation and, in the case of AC4, becoming an inside man of sorts was very interesting.
The new pfp go crazy love the basim look
Still playing it, just wow😮the sailing is just 😮
hey man I'm new to this channel but I'm loving the content. 1 video I think could be fun is you review the Assassin's Creed (2016) movie
Literally picked up a switch lite for this and the AC3 remaster. Having those games on my person at all times makes life pretty much the best. No joke
When it comes to pirate games, you should check out Sid Meier's Pirates. It's a brilliant game about pirates and it's almost 20 years old. I played it in like 2007 or so and it was amazing. It can catch you for a lot of hours because it's quite addicting to see yourself grow in the rank of the most dangerous pirates.
This bgm gives goosebumps even today
One of my all time favorite games. I still play it sometimes to this day
Been playing it again for the past week or two and it's been so great. btw on a sidenote, what site do you check the sales on?
Love that your comments on the best things about black flag are just missing from S&B
Love the vids
Happy Birthday Black Flag! I love this game. It was my very 1st AC game and it´s still my favourite one. Then my save file corrupted and and I lost my 96% save. I was mad but I played it again and I am now at 98% of total synch.
I got this game on my 16th birthday back in 2013, man i feel old.
Battlefield 4 is also 10 years old today. I got that game and Black Flag with my PS4 on that day in 2013. Good memories!
Great video, black flag was never my favourite I don't think I finished it though, I might give it a Replay. Can't wait to see what your take on unity is 10 years later next year. After 2/brotherhood, unity is my favourite and I still play it on and off for the multiplayer.
Oh man i never thought of it. But i have so much playing the game.
It's crazy that Black Flag is 10 years old. It was my first PS4 game and I remember it was delivered a week before the PS4 came out. I had to just look at the game for a week before I could play it. I loved the game and it's one of my favorite AC games. It released during a bad time for me though. Had a bad health emergency and had to keep going to the hosptial over the course of a month. I kept getting released for a day or two and then having to go back since things kept happening. I got to play AC4 for those times in between hosptial stays. Having such a great game did make it a bit easier to cope though. Luckily it got sorted out shorty after but still....that's the memory I have tied to this game.
i replayed black flag last month for the first time in 6 years and i forgot how deep and amazing edwards story is
you killed me with that ending 😮💨🥲
I had nostalgia for the origins of the Assassins, and I was in Uzbekistan and filmed a Walk like an Assassin in real life. It turned out to😅 be unexpectedly cool Can you take a look?
The remake can be amazing , with the new tech ubi has developed the potential is great. Having seemless sailing in the Caribbean alone would be awesome.
my first time play Black flag I have to low graphics settings down so hard to level that there's no grass left.
but now, my current PC can run at max setting... man... what a beauty...
NICE NEW PROFILE PIC DUDE
Happy birthday you beautiful Masterpiece.
Sometimes, things that old but absolutely are gold and cant be replaced.
The ending of this game, gave me late reaction to cutting onions... it always will 😭😭
my love acbf
glad that u were in my life
i had a very good time playing you
happy birthday assassins creed black flag
Happy 10th year anniversary assassin creed black flag
Excited for black flag remake.
just replayed this game and it was a lot shorter than I remembered, I thought I was around the halfway point when the credits started rolling :( Fantastic game though, still one of my favorite games
I still remember getting this game at midnight release. They released it along side a WWE game it was fun we had all the assassins and wrestlers in one place
I really love this game. It's number 2 on my personal list of favorite games from this franchise. Partly because I simply enjoyed going out and pirating around for no reason because it's fun.
10 years???, I can't believe that a beautiful masterpiece is 10 years old already, I feel old now
Assassin's Creed 3 is 11 years old tomorrow..
threason I love this game so much is because as a kid in like 2015 I could never breath that mission in the assassin hideout in telum (if you know you know) but now I'm working on 100%ing the game
I didn't even know the release date of black flag and I coincidentally started picking the game back up in its birthday🎉🎉
Rope darts are the best things to be added to assassins creed
As a black Flag fan, saw this video coming
Game is still incredible I usually go back and replay the campaign once a year.
Im playing it for the first time now. Its fire 🔥
Been Assassins Creed fan since AC2, but AC3 and Black Flag gave me the most joy out of any game in the franchise.
Kenways forever!!
Best Assassin’s Creed for me! I pretty much love everything about the game. The story, the characters, and the gameplay were all so good.
Absolutely looooove this game!!!!
I just binge played all of Assasins Creed and Black Flag was one of my favorites! Being a pirate and an assassin? Sign me up! Abstergo storyline was pretty bad tho that was its only flaw. I like how they connect AC 3 AC 4 and even Rogue, and Unity as well that’s neat!
black flag ost drop goes HARD
I can’t wait for the remaster man
Wow! I loved this game ngl
God black flag was my favourite game to play and also fun
The story line was amazing
Still a banger
They did a lot of heavy lifting with skulls and bones for ship development, but combat mirage did a lift, and black flag remake is gonna do that to
My Favorite Assassin's Creed Game ❤️
one of my favorite games of all time
This game had a perfect balance assassin and pirate fantacy
Totally. Perfect example of a non-Assassin protagonist done right. If only Odyssey and Valhalla had followed suite
lol fantacy🎉
FANTASY* 😂
@@LouSassoleSledgecock It's only a slight misspelling, and you can still tell what they are trying to say. There's literally no reason for you to comment
Bro how has it already been 10 years!!!😱😭😭Happy 10th Black flag!!! Still entertaining ac fans to this day!!!
My first Assassins Creed game ❤
Was just playing Black Flag and Rogue so hearing about the remake made me really happy.
Love black flag 🏴☠️ I still have it on my Xbox it’s amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
man this soundtrack was so damn good!
Played it yesterday fckn masterpiece
Tbh i was playing this game last week and was playing black flag 5 mins before watching your video😂
Yo! I can’t believe it😢
I loved this game so much a d it may be my most played ac game period. Way too good.
I remember having a great time playing black flag on my old ps3, great times
5'10 around 160 lbs born march 10th 1963 full name Edward James Kenway
Son: Haythem Kenway
Game: assassin's creed 4 blackflag
Jobs: pirate assasin
Story: beautiful
Also I think he has a daughter
I get emotional whenever i get reminded of AC4
My life is incomplete without this Hell of a Masterpiece
Man i feel old
missing the fact that these games are our childhood... happy 10 years
Crazy, back then almost every new game had super updated graphics like year after year drastic improvement, then you get to 2023.. this is back when games were games, was during the slipnslide of finding new ways to monetize every part of the experience
