recroom is pretty good.. I particularly like paintball Lazertag and drawing charades.. but their other games like The Rise of Jumbotron and Crescendo and Isle of Skulls and several others are a lot of fun. I think VRchat is pretty amazing too.. so many rooms that are built as games as well as social hang-out rooms.

Yeah, I just got my quest 2 yesterday and I pretty much have been living on rec room on my VR time, the screaming sometimes get annoying but game wise it is really fun :)

For the next video, how about to review all the controller mods for oculus quest? I've got a racket for Eleven table tennis, fishing grip with real spinning wheel for Real VR fishing, golf grip for Golf+, several gun stocks for FPS games and pistol grip for Pistol Whip. At first it looks kind of silly but those little add-ons make the games so much enjoyable and much more immersive.

I absolutely loved the Beat Saber and Superhot demos - I did eventually end up getting the paid versions, but it was so helpful and inspiring to be able to play them for free as I got my “VR legs” with my new Quest 2 headset. Space Pirate Trainer demo is also super fun. Have yet to try VR Chat and Rec Room, but this video reminded me to check them out. Great content, thank you!

Fun fact: in Battle Talent, if you jump off the bridge multiple times, you unlock the chest menu (right arm panel button) which has a built in mod menu for downloading mods

Also I just received my Facial Interface & Foam Replacement Set for Oculus™ Quest 2 - Virtual Reality Oasis Edition and I love it. Absolutely loving the thick foam pad and also that cool blue colour! Super happy!!

Bigscreen is awesome, I watched Avatar in 3D there, and that was an amazing experience.
I'm addicted to echo vr arena. It's a good mix of toxic kids and guys with great sportsman's ship. Being in a zero g environment is the best I've ever experienced

I love how he said bogo is short but a good experience. I hate seeing comments where people complain about it being short or whatever and giving bad ratings when its still great experience to have before you die,yknow? Whether its 5 minutes or 50404 hours. If I have fun, you'll get 5 stars
I have more fun with shorter experiences because my uninterrupted time is limited. I always have 10 minutes here and there for Beat Saber or whatever but rarely do I have 2 hours to dig into something.

I’ve never been into computers and I thought Oculus needed one, so I never really bothered looking into it. I only discovered a few days ago, that the Q2 doesn’t need a computer and my mind was blown away by this. I am so getting one before christmas.

Free games are always a fun experience
Echo is what got me really wanting a VR headset. Amazing concept & probably the game with the most potential to break thru as the first notable VR esport. Non-gamers can watch it and get the gist of it without any explanation.
Mine was VRChat youtubers like Drumsy and other chat games like that

Today is my birthday and my parents surprise me with a VR headset I’ve been saving up for it for at least three weeks now and so fun just to play with it

pavlov shack is VERY fun, like on the OG cargo map, on the stairs, you can camp were you can see a door, and you can see a couple of doors and windows, and if your under fire you can go to the 2nd floor and dodge bullets, you can shoot bots/players you can see threw the doors and window, and I recommend you only use this offline because people might get mad.

The Quest is basically all I've ever wanted for a VR headset, but as long as Facebook is attached I'll never be giving up that level of privacy for a device. It's sad watching the utopian ideas of the internet and VR turned into a surveillance state run by corporations hiding being EULAs they know people don't have the time to read.
What's even sadder is the near complete lack of resistance these companies face.

Meh, I've never had issues with this. You do realize that if you have a cell phone of any kind and have been using it regularly for the last fifteen years or so every single bit of your information you could ever fathom has been sold, used, distributed amongst all kinds of people that would blow your mind anyway, correct? Facebook having it literally means nothing at this point lol

This mentality of indifference is exactly why Google, FB, etc are able to continue to push things further. No, it's not okay, and just because you've given up your privacy doesn't mean you shouldn't demand it back from the companies who've made their fortunes off of you as the product.
And FWIW, I don't use a smartphone.

Battle Talent is one of the best games on Quest. I hope the dev's add multiplayer like 4 player arena combat and dungeon co-op.

One thing I recommend is the lens cleansers. A soft microfabric. My lens are got scratched already cuz I tried removing this particle and it just smeared more with oils or something. Heads up

Wow! This was a perfect video for me! I just bought the Occulus Quest 2 yesterday and couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to my boys, so I ended up giving it to them yesterday. Yeah, same day I bought it. Anyway, thank you so much for doing this awesome video because this bad boy set me back quite a bit of cash, so I'm not able to get a paid game for it just yet.
there are some good free games but there aren't that many which i think is a little disappointing for the price of the headset, and the games could get pretty expensive

Hi, Mike. Thanks for all the great tips. I just received my Quest 2 today, and I am sampling some of your recommendations before I expand my library. As for learning the "ropes", is it pretty much a trial and error situation? Or are there any help menus, etc., to get an idea of how to play. I didn't get very far in the Battle Talent demo, as I couldn't figure out the dynamic hints. Whatever the case, I will forge ahead. Cheers!

You can connect it to the pc with an adaptater if you have one
@@shagzyy3414 But it still would be the PC controlls. The great thing about the VR version is they way you can move your hands to shoot in different directions at the same time and the head to dodge bullets.

I have a Request of a game that i would appreciate if you checked out to see how the game is, its a game called "Into The Radius" its heavily inspired by the STALKER game franchise and looks to be the full stalker style game in VR and i wanted to have a proper VR review from a reviewer who is all about VR

Hey man I know I'm late but if you have a computer powerfully enough at least a 1060ti for graphics, then I highly suggest hooking your quest 2 up to it with steam vr and getting half life alyx it's an amazing game with a world that is fully intractable and its got mods that turn into a whole new game

Do you also feel that your quest 2 game is lacking something? If so, then the solution is to install Pavlock Shack. This quest 2 game is the best one at the moment. It will make your quests not so boring and make your gaming experience way much better than before.

Is there any demo that shows how to use the remote and overall how to control and interact using the VR, for new users? Even the “first contact” game can seem confusing to someone who doesn’t know what triggers to press or even how to properly hold the remote. I just got my Oculus and I’m completely in love! The immersive 360 experiences on CZcams VR are absolutely amazing!
