I got goosebumps at this point and when Chen and Baekhyun started singing - mind blown!
EXO train their vocals while running on treadmills. This helps them to maintain stable vocals. If you watch one of Baekhyun's blogs that he posted, he sang while lifting weights too. I also remember Chen once said that when they perform, they always force their breathing when they aren't singing but they do it silently, making sure that it isn't picked up by their mics.
I know SHINee did (idk if they still do) the same thing. They used to jog as a group and they will be singing & hitting high notes with ZERO difficulty, breathiness or pitchiness.
I'm not entirely sure if it is a SM technique but I've noticed that this type of training is something you only hear from SM artists.

I dont know if you are aware that Japan has the stringest rules for performers to include no lypsinging that is why EXO's performances have a call out within many of their songs to show that their live performances ARE exactly that... live, unalterated, without the use of autotune. They own the stage.
EXO is really a team. From songwriters, stage designers, stylists, stage makes, make up artitsts, directors, camera men,managers, staff and members. I SALUTE and STAN them all. đâ€

Actually, youâre almost right. These EXO boys run on treadmills during their vocal training sessions. Thatâs why their voices are unfazed despite all the exhaustive dance routines. That's the fruit of many years of hardwork and intense training plus EXO is really that talented..An ex trainee from SMent said that it is easier to study for 30yrs.than being a trainee from SMent..I remembered one producer said that EXO is like a Justice league group..

Actually, after these performances when they go backstage, many of them require oxygen masks for a few minutes to be able to breathe again and then they come back up on stage. That's how they keep performing. This was shown on backstage footage for their concerts.
I was so lucky to watch this performance live.
And it was insane, all exoâs concert are so amazing.

No Kpop group could ever perform like this. They can do a cover but not enough to surpass EXO's performance. That's pure talent, hard work, dedication and love. They are born with it. This type of performance cannot be embellished by just beautiful stages, but puuure talent overflowing right there. It's really different when your Stanned group really performs for the fans and serve you an act that nourishes your soul. They perform because they give you love. Not to become more popular.

Aside from tremendous vocal trainings and endurance during their predebut ( they practice 4-5 hrs min daily, KAI 8-10 hrs daily) they still train and do vocal lessons up till this day. EXO always strive to improve themselves to give the world a breathtaking performance! So proud of them! â€ïž

That tree is a reference i believe to the tree of life which is a story line in Exo where they are guardians with supernatural powers that protect it but had to split it due to the evil intent of the Red force. It's amazing how there is a continuous storyline in all their MVs and teasers when u actually look for it.

I've been to their concerts and wolf remix will literally give you goosebumps seing it performed live. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wolf remix was AND ONLY performed during their exo planet #3 exordium concert tours so it's an honor to have actually seen it live. They haven't performed it since.

I came back to watch this video because Iâm missing EXO concerts a lot. And as for tying something on their legs, Lay said he used to tie sandbags on his legs as a trainee.
As for EXOârDIUM, itâs arguably their best concert setlist and tour. It was so tight from beginning to end. I remember it was also the concert tour where many EXO-Ls flew to different parts of the world to watch it over and over again. Truly worthy of its Best Concert title from the EDaily Culture Awards.
