- These Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Elite MDS003s are one of the most spectacular boots to look at! I'm so impressed with the Nike Design team on this one. The fit and feel is classic Vapor - built for straight line speed and aggressive traction. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone who likes light boots with good lockdown, great touch on the ball, and an aggressive soleplate! Stay tuned in the next few weeks as I discuss which boots I'll be wearing on off season and into preseason!

Hey legend huge fan, love these boots for some reason compared to other vapors they just fit like a glove. Have had the same version for 3 years now and don’t see me changing anytime soon. So thats where u come in as a video idea that would be awesome would be a vapor tier list for each mercurial boot, their fit and etc info about them. Would also like to see some battles between older boots and new ones for eg. Vapor 13 vs vapor 15 etc.
Hopefully u see this and look forward to a potential video where u talk about “how the vapor 13 holds up in 2023”

Thank you for the insight on the ag version fitting a little wider than the fg. I’ve been wanting to try some mercs for the longest but been scared due to having wide feet. Just bought an ag, hopefully it goes well

Max petersen the vapors are a tight fitting boot.. I have a medium foot and it gives me a pressure point on the side of my foot.. I recommend you go to your local shop and try them out
@@maxpetersen335 for me they fit perfectly. I think I may of overestimated my foots width as I didn’t feel much discomfort while playing in them. At first they did take a while to break in but after a couple of sessions they feel smooth as butter. I couldn’t tell u the difference between ag and fg as I never owned a fg pair, but what I can tell you is try it on in the store or buy it online and return if it’s too tight. I’ve heard many people rave about the phantom gt being a wide foot option so that may be a safer option for you. In my personal opinion, i would go for nemeziz as an alternative to the mercs. I absolutely adore the feel of them and the conical studs are a thing of beauty.

Hey great review,just wondering for the sizing I have adidas that size 44.Which size would you recommend me to go with for those mercurials
I'm not sure if I understand your question mate! If you wear a size 44 in adidas, I would try that with the Vapors first! If the 44 doesn't work, you can always upsize or downsize! There are also sizing charts online that will show you what a 44 is in US or UK sizing for each company!
The AGs will eventually be the norm. There is NO DENYING hoe much more comfortable the AGs are. I've had them on two gens of Superflys with great success and sufficient performance
Especially as more and more places become reliant on AG pitches!

I was thinking about the GT but after this video it's a wrap.
I absolutely LOVED the springiness of the soleplate of regular Vapor 13 but I didn't like the sharp shape of them, but these definitely are wider and look like the Vapor 12 while at the same time having that stiff sole as the 12 didn't have... think this could become a dangerous tool for me!
Exactly! It’s great having a sole plate that suits a more agility-style player who can do rotational turns easier. The FG sole plate was not as good for that! Enjoy those boots brother
Now that it’s been a week and you’ve worn these have you broken them in.. how do they feel and how was the break in process if you have broke them in ?.. I find my fg mercs to feel tight on the same widest part of your foot
I’ve worn these a little bit mate but not very much because this is just a review - I know from wearing the FG mercurials back December-March that they took me about 2 weeks to fully break in. That’s playing 6 days a week too. I imagine it would be similar with the AG version because it’s the same upper, but ONCE the upper is broken in, the entire boot will be more comfortable because the sole plate is slightly wider fitting 👍🏼
Did the fg version when you wear them stretch in the midfoot? I am wide in the same area I have that bone on the side of my foot that kinda sticks out. I really want to get a pair
I would not recommend these boots for wide footed players mate! Try something like a Phantom GT or a Puma Future Z 1.2

Enjoy your reviews. Was just starting to use my Vapers to workout with. Was using an old F50 leather but it lost it shape like most leather boots do. But Noah, you need to also invest in a better ball.

Would you say the 13’s fit the same as the 14’s width and length wise ? I’m a 9 US and my 14’s had a little heel slippage but they were a good feet overall, I returned them though cause of the slipping. I’m looking to go to the 13’s , Will I have the same problem with the 13’s or go true to size ? I heard the 13’s are a bit tighter
For me, the 13s were a bit wider, but the length on both was spot on! I'd say go with a 9 US as well mate! Out of the box they fit a bit tighter for sure, but they do a really good job of molding to your feet when you break them in!
But I have a medium foot not a wide one it’s just that one part of my foot
What’s your opinion on these vs the phantom gt? Which would you pick!? I’m having a difficult time trying to decide which of the two to go with... I keep going back and forth.... any advice? I have a wide foot in my mid and forefoot and it’s a very flat foot haha. Any advice and input would help!
Great question, I think it all depends on what you’re looking for! Both boots are comfortable to start off with. The GTs are going to be softer and easier to just hop into and play. The vapors will have way more lockdown and feel faster. If sizing is really important to you than GTs fit 1/4 size too big when you get your usual size. Other than that it’s just up to you! If you can find a store nearby, go try on both in a blind test, or order them from a website that has free returns so you don’t lose any money trying both pairs.

@@MiggyMxG they actually fit pretty different in my opinion! The vapors are much more streamlined and classic fitting and the GTs feel more anatomical and have less structure. I think that’s up to you mate! You’ve gotta decide what your priorities are in a boot and go from there 👍🏼
Where did you get that the Ag is wider than the Fg ? Please answer
Measuring myself! I put them back to back and it's pretty clear the AG plate is a bit wider! They also fit slightly different to me, but may feel the same to you!

Do u think it’s worth cutting my socks and wearing grip socks under or is the idea of cutting the socks to wear what you would normally wear at practice
I think that’s a good idea
I wear grip socks at practice AND during games! 👍🏼 I don’t wear full length socks or shin guards at practice because we don’t need to, but obviously for games you need your game socks. Everyone has their own preference, so just find what works best for you and GO for it 💪🏼

It does! Some artificial grass (AG) soleplates work really well on normal grass if it’s short and well kept. Players like Neymar have been seen wearing AG stud patterns in games because the sole plate is more similar to what they like!
I got really bad blisters on the heel part any one else ?
I get hotspots on the side of my feet - but these haven't given me blisters before!
