Liquid Death worked with SJC Drums to manifest pure aggression into a snare… then (foolishly) sent one to producer Sam Pura. Known for already having some of the most colossal snare sounds, Sam then recorded over 500 samples and brought into existence the heaviest snare plugin ever released. Never again will producers wonder how they can make their drums hit harder; in fact, we put volume faders on each microphone just in case you get intimidated by the samples. Download at your own risk.

Sam! You're the man for including so many tunings. My GGD and Addictive kits don't have that option so this is gonna compliment them so nicely. I've been playing with it in my drum programming template for the last hour and it slapssssss. Best friends indeed. Thanks dude.

I love this snare, I've started using it loads as a second snare blended in and compressed with the original, the amount of body it adds is just fantastic. Having so many options to play with really sets it apart

This is great. Congrats on the release! Question… when soloing the overheads, I hear the snare leaning more towards the right side. Does the plugin have any integrated way to flip this?
There are no controls integrated in the plugin to flip this. But you could use a plugin like Waves S1 or BX Control V2 to lean the image to the left.

Is the a damping option like the Alex vanhalen snare in Dirty Movies?
Sounds great, but when I tried to use it in Logic Pro X, how to trigger it via midi?
I have an issue with REAPER and selecting midi notes, I change the multi velocity and no audio comes out, everything is routed right. Same goes with the flam... Only the rimshot works, help please!

I have this plugin working but the snare tuning doesn’t seem to be doing anything at all. When i try to flip through the presets I can’t hear any difference. Is there something i am not doing? Thanks!
Great plugin. However, when I walk through different presets, they overwrite the routing, putting it back to 1/2. Is there a way of saving the routing independently of the presets?
We hope to have a fix for that on the next update.

I have problems fam. LDSnare will not trigger from MIDI in my Reaper DAW. Been searching to solutions online. No routing problems, as other plugins work fine. Thanks for any help. Cheers.
Hey David shoot me an email at panda@purafied.com if you have any issues. I'm going to assume this might be a sound card / playback engineer sample rate mis-match issue. Make sure your session and playback engine of your windows machine are the same ( the windows one is usually 48khz). Try that. let me know if that works and if not shoot me a message and I'll get you sorted!

Nice, but it's a little unclear to me where the snare comes from when you bypass the plugin. Are you adding the plugin snare on top of an audio track where there is already a snare ? Where is the snare coming from when bypassed and is it still present when enabling the plugin ? :/
I'm using it to blend into my existing real recorded snare / drum sound.
the multi velocity deosnt react to my velociteis even though they are on the correct midi note.

Sounds killer, but I haven't been able to install it correctly on Windows. Followed the suggested steps, but it doesn't appear on Protools nor Ableton Live. Anyone know what may be the problem?
It's a stereo virtual instrument. Make sure you are using it on a stereo instrument track. It is not an audio plugin.
Doesn't work in Cubase 10 either, no dll. file so won't recognize it in my vst folders.

What drum instrument library are you using for everything else?
All real drums in this example except for the additional Liquid Death Snare.

Useless with pro tools. Audio suite only. I need to hear it in context. On top of that, It wont render or preview . Why is this not a real time plugin?
The Liquid Death Snare is a stereo virtual instrument. It will not work with audio suite in Pro Tools. It will only work as a stereo virtual instrument track. Please contact our support at panda@purafied.com for help troubleshooting any issues.
