I dont know, 6/10 on IMDB seems pretty accurate, movie was entertaining but nothing more.

For those thinking he fired 2, 2 then one arrows. Here is why it seem that way. He kept all three arrows in his hand. So when he fired the first arrow he had two arrows remaining in the bow, fired again leaving one. So he only released one each time he shoots. But in the view the arrows are visible in the bow but he only release one keeping the unreleased arrow in his hand for the next shot.
What, someone has to confused with that?

1:53 Lost track of how many times I've used that shooting method; holding three arrows between two fingers for quick shooting. Once you get the basics of it, it feels more powerful in a way.
Between the fingers is a thumb draw method of fast shooting....here he is using a two finger Flemish release....it's my opinion that using a sassinid draw with arrows between the fingers.....is completely useless and unstable because the spare arrows are flopping out there when they should be held firm against the bow, I don't think Slavic draw enjoyed any real historical significance in warfare .....not in the way that thumb draw did .....the Mamluks and the old masters used the thumb draw ....not Slavic
@@jareth7456 Yeah that is a good point, I'll admit that HAS happened when shooting slavic unless it's been one arrow between each pair of fingers, holding the nocks all the way down. I haven't tried the two-finger Flemish with extras though, I'll have to give it a try since I have managed to shoot off the right side of the bow that way quite a few times. Not AS stable as Slavic but doable and interesting to experiment with.

@@cronas2 But with very little accent considering her own experience with English would be minimal is quite impressive. Also doesnt help that the english language is notoriously difficult for people that dont speak it natively to pick up, and even more difficult to lose their own regional accent.

Great to see realistic bow and arrow skills
Actually it's simply not possible to do this and have the arrows line up against the fingers of the bow hand...they will always stick out to the side ...I'd be happy to be proven wrong because it looks so cool . But it figures Lajos Kassai trained Matt for his part as an archer....no wonder it's not realistic
It looks cool, realistic for the movie and our entertainment. But it's not exactly how it would go ''realistically'' speaking, but it looks cool enough to be a in a movie. The way he did it in real life would be definitely be diferent, such scene can be done in real life, we have very skilled archers in this world, but their arm movement and hands would be much more lively then matt damon's '' standing '' stance.

I wouldn't say they have no idea. They saw the bowl flying in the air, saw his arrow deflect the bowl toward the pillar and then never come down. Also saw him shoot all the arrows and knew exactly where the arrows were headed. Doesn't take a genius to infer what happened.

He only uses 3 arrows from start to finish. He doesn't shoot multiple at a time, but holds his spares ready in check to be fired in succession. 3 shots, 3 arrows. You can even see that he only takes 3 from the quiver.
